You’ll Need:
UV gel or acrylic for 3D art
Dotting tool or 3D nail art brush
Pastel gel polish (pink, lavender, mint)
Rhinestones (optional)
Top coat & UV lamp
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Prep & Polish: Start with your base colour. Soft pastel shades are in!
Create Petals: Use a 3D nail art brush to sculpt petals with acrylic or builder gel. Start from the centre and fan out.
Add Details: Place a rhinestone or tiny pearl at the flower’s centre for extra charm.
Seal the Look: Cure under a UV lamp and finish with a glossy top coat.
Pro Tip: Mix matte and glossy finishes for added dimension.
Channel your inner Ariel with these gorgeous seashell nails! They’re perfect for beach vacations, pool parties, or just soaking up the summer vibes.

Fine glitter or shimmer pigment
Nail art brush
Top coat & UV lamp
Step-by-Step Tutorial:

Sculpt the Shell: Use builder gel and a thin brush to draw vertical ridges in a shell shape.

You’ll Need:
Coral or sand-toned polish
Acrylic powder or 3D sculpting gel
Tiny gold beads or micro-studs
Nail art brush
Top coat & UV lamp
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Base Polish: Choose warm, beachy tones like coral, nude, or soft turquoise.
Sculpt the Starfish: Use a small brush to draw five small arms of a star, building the thickness layer by layer.
Add Texture: While the gel is still sticky, embed gold beads in the centre for realistic texture.
Final Touch: Cure under a UV lamp and apply a top coat—matte works great for a soft sand effect!
Why choose one? Mix a 3D flower accent nail, a few seashells, and a starfish on your ring finger for a full-blown coastal nail art set. Pair with ombré pastels or jelly finishes for a modern 2025 twist.
3D Embellishments: The more texture, the better!
Ocean-Inspired Colours: Think aqua, coral, pearl, and seafoam green.
Mixed Media Designs: Combine decals, 3D art, and chrome polish.
Minimalist Nails with 3D Accents: Let one or two nails shine with 3D art while others stay sleek.

Black on black is a classic! Whether its a black top on a black skirt, or a nicely fitted black shirt with crisp trousers. There are several ways to make a black on black outfit interesting! In this outfit, I’m wearing an off-shoulder black crop top with a pleated, flared skirt (both from H&M). The fitted bodice of the top on the waist creates a flattering shape and the flared skirt looks dressy while being comfortable at the same time!
I kept it classic with the accessories, a pair of simple gold hoops, black heels and a bamboo bag that I picked up from a street market in Bali!
What do you think of this look?
Would you wear black on black, how would you style it?

Tom Ford Violet Blonde is the one Tom Ford I regret not getting when it was easily available. I reviewed it when it first came out, and loved it, but didn’t get a bottle, and now it is basically a unicorn and bottles are impossible to find. I was fortunate enough to be gifted a bottle, so I have no more fomo and can wear Violet Blonde as much as I want.
When it came out in 2011, Tom Ford was releasing scents that appealed to the traditional perfume lover, showing an appreciation for classic materials and styles of perfume. It was inevitable that as the brand became more popular, got bought over, and Ford retired, that the newer launches set and follow the latest trends, showcase the latest materials. ⠀
Violet Blonde is a vintage-style powdery iris and jasmine combo that opens with violet moving to a almost face-cream like Jasmine, and finishes with an almost airy vetiver.
Violet Blonde is a reference to the almost pastel blonde shade of hair, tinted with a hint of purple so that it doesn’t look brassy. It’s glam but fun. It implies that particular type of meticulousness. The perfume represents this perfectly. It’s classic and assured, put together, intentionally thoughtful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We already know that coconut oil is life, so I’m not here to sell you on its various benefits, but I was recently gifted some Conscious Coconut Oil (AKA CoCo) and I’m loving it, y’all!
Not only is this a line of quality products that yield exceptional results, but they are rooted in charity that helps people and our planet!
These products are fantastic! They’re certified organic, are cold-pressed and virgin and are made in small batches without the use of machinery. As a result of this, CoCo is never exposed to any harsh or toxic chemicals.
Yasss!! I use it as makeup remover, to help with my toddler’s eczema and on my skin and hair.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They empower people with disabilities right here in Tampa, FL by partnering with Macdonald Training Center (MTC). MTC provides employment placement services to adults with many challenges, including hearing impairments and other physical or cognitive disabilities. MTC packages their finished coconut oil and serves as their fulfillment center to the rest of the country.
Conscious Coconut donates a meal to a child in need via a partnership with Feeding America for every meal sold. I didn’t realize how large the number was, but nearly 16 million kids in the US go hungry everyday. 💔
It’s certified through Fair Trade USA, which ensures fair working conditions for their farmers in the southern Philippines and packaging factories in China.
Their packaging is TSA-certified which is super-clutch since I travel often for work and pleasure. And they have sustainable packaging. You can snag some of your own here!
Have you tried Conscious Coconut oil products before? What are your thoughts?
Ciao Bellas,
[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I think my experience with Fable & Mane Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner is one of ‘great brand, wrong product’. The Volumizing formula just wasn’t right for my hair and while this brand focuses on age old Indian hair secrets, the promise of soft, bouncier and fuller hair just didn’t happen for me.
There’s a pre-shampoo hair oil that I am really looking forward to using and instinctively feel that it will be great for my bleached hair, but in this instance, not only was there no volume to speak of, it also looked rather dull. Annoying. To make hair products do some form of amplifying, you need to use ingredients that directly impact the hair shaft or contribute to the appearance of volume – typically hydrolyzed ingredients and indeed this does contain hydrolyzed rice proteins which can adhere to the hair shaft to make it look thicker than it really is, but the bulk of the INCI is very typical and usual hair cleansing ingredients. I also have questions on why a shampoo and conditioner are exactly the same price when the ingredients are different – my instinct tells me it’s more expensive to create a conditioner than a shampoo purely because the ingredients are richer.
The scent is delicious – the father of the founders (siblings Akash and Niki) worked for Jean Patou so early on, the pair realized that getting a nose to create the fragrance for the products was key in marking out a difference. It’s a delicate, petal-like scent with clean notes that genuinely adds to the wash experience. I’d recommend Volumizing for thin or oily hair, not for dry and bleached hair like mine. I can’t help feeling that what these products needed was some silicone – they’re a silicone free brand. At £28 per bottle, I’d consider this a luxury buy and I want to have better experience with the brand. Watch this space for a review of the pre-shampoo oil. You can find Fable & Mane HERE.
In the UK, the weather has been optimistically sunny. And while it’s only a matter of time until the spring showers arrive (Brits aren’t as optimistic), it’s time to recalibrate my skincare wardrobe. As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m a creature of habit, so I don’t tend to change much up. But my capsule spring skincare arsenal must do the following: protect, brighten, and bronze. It’s simple, streamlined, and, most importantly, effective.
I usually can’t bear an extra step of applying sunscreen. But it’s non-negotiable. Glossier Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen is an SPF but not as we know it. Its serum-like consistency is unrecognisable from your traditionally thick, chalky sunscreen. It’s really light, fresh, and it doesn’t interfere with whatever I apply on top. My only gripe is it’s £20 for 30ml – but can you put a price on protection? When things heat up, I’ll switch to a higher dose of SPF.
I’m obsessed with Kora Organics Noni Bright Vitamin C Serum, it’s the best. Not only do I appreciate its formulation of 12% ascorbyl glucoside (the most stable and water-soluble derivative of vitamin C), which is scientifically proven to block free radicals and pollution, its texture is loveable and lightweight, too. I’ve used every last drop of SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic, which is hailed as the gold standard of vitamin C serums, but Noni Bright is better. Big claims, I know. But my skin is brighter, smoother, firmer, and more even, all without irritation. And unlike SkinCeuticals, it doesn’t smell like hot dogs, rather a glass of fizzy orange. It’s satisfying to use and half the price.
If you like to look like you have perfectly even and sunkissed skin without wearing an ounce of makeup, this is a must-have. The Oskia Nutri-Bronze Adaptive Sheer Tinted Serum takes the edge off of any redness and under-eye bags and makes my skin look like it has nothing on it at all. It’s also enriched with a whole host of ingredients from hyaluronic acid and pro-vitamin B5 to plump and hydrate, to bakuchiol the natural alternative to retinol. I use one to two drops, applied directly to my skin to minimise waste by way of my hands.
What skincare products are you wearing for spring?

Hello fabulous women, today I have 5 summer trends that are right now all the hype but I personally won’t do them. As always: if you love anything that I hate, please: you do you! It would be so boring, if we all walked around in the same clothes. There is this woman in my gym- she dresses super whimsical, layering multiple colors and patterns, I would never wear this but on her it is the cutest thing- it goes with her vibe and is adorable. She looks unique and shows personality. Point is: Everyone should wear whatever they want.
So these are just my own opinions!

Getting fit for a hearing aid can be a worrying time. Losing your hearing for any reason is not an outcome that many people want to experience, but sadly, it is a reality for many Americans. Approximately 15% of the population experiences a level of hearing loss, and less than half of those who can benefit from wearing aids don’t use them or have been fitted for them.
So, while the prevalence of hearing loss is high across the country, taking a step towards getting the right tools to overcome hearing difficulties and support better hearing is a positive one that can significantly improve your health and well-being.
Let’s take a look at what you can expect when being fitted for hearing aids.
Initially, you will likely discuss with your provider about your lifestyle and needs for your hearing aids. They will ask questions about where you find it most difficult to hear and what it sounds like for you. They will inquire as to your usual daily activities and discuss how your hearing loss is impacting you. These questions and the information you provide help them find the right learning aids for you and program the device to work as needed. As each person’s loss is unique and they will be impacted in different ways, it’s essential to personalize the user experience for you, making you feel understood and cared for.
Using the information you share and the results of your hearing test, your provider will guide you through the various types of hearing aids available on the market and explain the features and benefits they offer. Modern digital hearing aids are equipped with numerous functions and advanced technology, allowing you to benefit from various features tailored to meet your specific needs.
Your appointment will likely include programming tailored to your needs and will require fine-tuning to optimize its effectiveness for you. They will test the sound levels and output of the aids in your hearing canal to ensure you’re getting the right level of amplification where you need it. This process is often called Real Ear Measurements (REM) and is vital to ensure that the hearing aid is delivering the results you need it to.
The device will be adjusted and adapted to fit your ears perfectly, ensuring a more comfortable fit. While this may need to be adjusted slightly with use and wear initially, they will ensure a comfortable, snug fit that doesn’t cause discomfort.
At this point, you will be provided with extensive care and handling instructions to ensure you use the devices properly and maintain them correctly. This will include handling to put the device in or on your ear and removing it again. It will provide you with clear cleaning instructions on how to maintain the longevity of your hearing aid and avoid any damage from improper use or incorrect procedures.
