ZIIP DOT Spot Treatment Device Review

by Lina Clémence May 31, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

ZIIP Beauty have launched the ZIIP DOT, a brand new spot treatment device, and not only does it look cute with it’s doughnut shape but it is the world’s first microcurrent spot device!

I’ve tried microcurrent devices in the past, but none that were meant to be used for spots, only for toning the skin. I suffer from hormonal acne around my chin area, so I was really keen to test it out and see how it could help.

How Does ZIIP DOT Work?

ZIIP DOT uses Microcurrent and Nanocurrent™, two intensities of electrical current that work
together to clear acne and spots.

MICROCURRENT – The higher intensity current that treats the spots. Microcurrent has been clinically proven to reduce inflammation, swelling, and acne-causing bacteria, helping to clear breakouts more quickly.

NANOCURRENT™ – Mimics the body’s natural electrical signals, encouraging skin cell renewal and repair to soothe irritation and support healing after breakouts.

The ZIIP DOT is used with the ZIIP Clear Gel, which is blended with a sugar complex that is one
of the most conductive formulas, helping the electrical currents flow through your skin safely.

It has ingredients such as Dendriclear™ which is used in skincare products to treat acne and reduce inflammation by 87%. Mint for its antibacterial properties, as well as cucumber and aloe to cool, heal and soothe irritated skin.

BENEFITS

  • Fast-acting spot treatment
  • Calms and soothes skin instantly after use
  • Reduces redness and evens out skin tone
  • Travel-friendly
  • Reduces acne by 44%

How To Use?

With the ZIIP DOT you can treat one area or your whole face. For just one area it only takes 90 seconds, with 60 seconds of Microcurrent and then 30 seconds of Nanocurrent™.

To do one area, press the button once to turn it on and it will light up and make a beep. Apply the Clear Gel, which comes with the DOT, onto the area and then place the electrodes onto your skin.

Rotate the device clockwise and anticlockwise on the skin and ensure the probe nearest the ZIIP logo is in contact with the treatment area/spot for best results.

ZIIP-DOT-Microcurrent-Device-1

I felt a slight tingle when the probe is in contact with the spot, it isn’t sore and feels like it is getting to work. When the Microcurrent is complete it will beep and the Nanocurrent™ will begin, for this just hold it over your face and then when it completes it will switch off.

If wanting to do more areas or the whole face, just hold in the button for a few seconds and it will switch modes to do a longer treatment. With 4 minutes of Microcurrent and 2 minutes of Nanocurrent™.

Results

The ZIIP DOT was so easy to use, I loved how it only took 90 seconds. Especially as spots tend to appear when and where you least expect them, so I loved the ease and quickness for treating them.

I used it to treat my chin area and I did this over a consecutive 4 days. It brought up a spot quickly, turning it to a yellow head and I noticed it reduced the redness significantly. I followed up with more treatments until the spot had gone down considerably.

ZIIP-DOT-Before-After

This is such a convenient way to treat pesky spots that just pop up, and I think for my hormonal acne on my chin it’s a good device to help keep it under control. I love that the gel has great ingredients that won’t trigger breakouts and help target them. It’s super small too, so you can pop it in your make-up bag on a trip.

Overall I found it a much more effective and quicker way to treat spots than some skincare products I have tried.

Where To Buy & Discount Code

ZIIP DOT is £169.99 and available in four colours at ZIIP Beauty

Take 10% off with code LDNDIARIES (also works on all ZIIP devices and gels)

This week I’m (really) obsessed with… Briogeo Superfoods Acai + Passionfruit Lightweight Hydration Hair Mask!

by Lina Clémence May 31, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Anyone who knows me even a little knows I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with beauty products that smell like food – preferably fruit, because who wouldn’t want to smell like a tropical snack bar? I’m convinced the folks at Briogeo hacked into my brain, did a little aromatherapeutic mind-reading, whipped up the exact scent I’d lose my mind over and then bottled it in the new Superfoods Açaí + Passionfruit Lightweight Hydration Hair Mask. It’s like a smoothie for your hair – and yes, I’ve thought about tasting it. (No, I didn’t. Okay, maybe just once…)

Briogeo Superfoods Acai + Passionfruit Lightweight Hydration Hair Mask – 240ml – $53 – a lightweight, superfood-infused mask with a water-cream texture to deeply hydrate fine strands without sacrificing volume or weighing hair down and infused with a juicy, tropical, passionfruit-inspired scent (which is amazing!)

It’s perfect for fine and medium hair – be it straight, wavy or curly – to sort out dryness, frizz and add shine. The vegan formula contains a concentrated blend of phytonutrients that nourishes hair without sacrificing volume including: acai extract – to protect strands from environmental aggressors; passionfruit oil – to boost moisture and add shine; and hydration complex – to deeply hydrate parched hair.

Okay, I know I keep going on about how good this smells (and yes, you’re probably over it), but honestly  it smells so incredible that I wouldn’t even be mad if it didn’t work. I’d just walk around huffing my own hair like a weirdo. But plot twist – it actually works really well.

Now, I love a good hair mask, but most of them are so thick and moisturizing that they leave my fine hair looking less like a shampoo commercial and more like I lost a battle with an oil slick. This one, though – total game-changer! It’s got this light-as-air, water-cream texture that leaves my hair softer, smoother, shinier without even a hint of grease.

And the scent? Ohhh the scent… It’s described as sweet, slightly tart berries meeting fresh, crisp greens with a juicy, tropical finish – and honestly, that’s poetry. It’s like a fruity vacation in a jar. 10/10, no notes.

Available now at Sephora stores across Canada and online at sephora.ca.

– Lisamarie –

BTW, did I mention that it smells amazing?!

Should an older woman wear mascara on bottom lashes? 2025

As we navigate the beautiful landscape of mature beauty, questions about makeup inevitably arise. And, one common query that often surfaces is: “Should an older woman wear mascara on bottom lashes?” This seemingly simple question sparks a broader conversation about how makeup can enhance, rather than detract from, the natural elegance of aging. So, join me as I delve deep into the nuances of bottom lash mascara-exploring benefits and pitfalls, application techniques, product choices, and considerations tailored specifically for mature skin and eyes that celebrate your natural beauty.

Should an older woman wear mascara on bottom lashes?

Should an older woman wear mascara on bottom lashes?

Yes, but proceed with caution. The decision to wear mascara on bottom lashes as you age is ultimately a personal one. There’s no universal ‘rule,’ but rather a need for customization. If you choose to enhance your lower lashes, prioritize a natural look. Heavy, volumizing formulas can emphasize fine lines and create a shadowed, downward-pulling effect. Instead, consider a lightweight, lengthening mascara, or even a subtle application of brown mascara, focusing on the outer corners. This approach provides definition without adding unnecessary weight, lifting the appearance of the eye. Prioritize a gentle hand and build coverage gradually to avoid clumping and smudging, which can further accentuate wrinkles.

Potential benefits of wearing mascara on bottom lashes

  • Enhanced eye definition: Strategically applied mascara on the lower lashes can create a more defined and open-eyed appearance, adding depth and dimension to the overall eye look. This can be particularly beneficial for those with naturally light or sparse lower lashes.
  • Perception of a more refreshed appearance: A subtle touch of mascara on the bottom lashes can contribute to a more vibrant and alert look, potentially creating the illusion of a more youthful and well-rested appearance. This effect is achieved by emphasizing the eye’s natural shape and brightness.
  • Balanced eye makeup: When applied correctly, bottom lash mascara can help to balance the overall eye makeup look, especially when the top lashes have been heavily defined. This can create a more harmonious and polished appearance.

Potential drawbacks of wearing macara on bottom lashes

  • Increased susceptibility to mascara migration: Mature skin often experiences alterations in texture and sebaceous gland activity, which can heighten the propensity for mascara to transfer or smudge onto the under-eye area. This may result in an undesirable “raccoon-eye” effect, necessitating frequent touch-ups.
  • Accentuation of periorbital rhytids: The application of heavy or volumizing mascara to the lower lashes may inadvertently draw attention to fine lines and wrinkles in the periorbital region. This can create a visual effect that emphasizes signs of aging, rather than enhancing the eyes.
  • Potential for overly dramatic ocular presentation: Excessive application of mascara to both the upper and lower lashes can result in an overly intense or “spidery” appearance, which may not align with the desired aesthetic of refined, mature beauty. A more subtle approach is often preferable.
  • Individualized aesthetic preferences and comfort levels: Many mature individuals may opt to forgo bottom lash mascara due to personal stylistic preferences or concerns regarding smudging and the potential accentuation of aging-related skin changes. This decision reflects a commitment to personal comfort and aesthetic alignment.

Tips for applying mascara on bottom lashes

  • Prioritize lengthening formulations: Opt for mascaras formulated to lengthen rather than volumize lower lashes. Lengthening formulas provide definition without adding excessive weight, which can accentuate under-eye concerns. This technique promotes a balanced and refined ocular aesthetic.
  • Employ a horizontal wiggling motion: To prevent clumping and achieve a natural appearance, apply mascara using a gentle horizontal wiggling motion at the base of the lower lashes. This technique ensures even distribution of product and minimizes the risk of “spidery” lashes.
  • Explore the subtlety of brown mascara: Black mascara can sometimes appear too intense on mature skin. Consider utilizing brown mascara for lower lash enhancement, as it offers a softer, more harmonious look that complements a refined, age-appropriate aesthetic.
  • Strategically emphasize upper lashes: If under-eye concerns are a consideration, prioritize enhancing the upper lashes. Well-defined upper lashes can create a lifted, vibrant look without drawing attention to fine lines or dark circles.
  • Maintain a light application: Apply a delicate, thin layer of mascara to the lower lashes, concentrating on the outer corners for a subtle, lifted effect. Avoid heavy applications, as they can contribute to smudging and an overly dramatic appearance.
  • Select smudge-resistant formulations: Choose mascaras specifically designed for lower lash application or those known for their smudge-resistant properties. This is especially important for mature skin, which may be more prone to mascara transfer.
  • Consider individual ocular morphology: Individuals with deep-set or hooded eyes may benefit from strategically defining the lower lash line with liner or by applying a subtle line to the inner lower rim (waterline). This can help to enhance ocular definition and create a more defined eye shape.

FAQs on mascara on bottom eyelashes

Why is mascara application to bottom lashes discouraged for mature individuals?

Overly heavy applications of dark mascara on both upper and lower lashes can create a stark, “spidery” appearance, which may inadvertently accentuate signs of aging. Modern makeup trends often favor a more natural, lifted look, leading many to omit bottom lash mascara for a more youthful aesthetic.

Is eyeliner on the bottom lashes appropriate for older women?

A delicate application of eyeliner along the lower lash line can enhance eye definition. However, a light touch is essential to maintain a soft, age-appropriate look. An exception exists for individuals with deep-set or hooded eyes, where strategically defining the lower lash line or waterline can create a more pronounced and defined eye shape.

Does mascara on the bottom lashes enhance eye size?

While bottom lash mascara can add definition and dimension, the effect on perceived eye size is nuanced. A light, delicate application can contribute to a more open-eyed appearance, but heavy applications can have the opposite effect by drawing attention to under-eye concerns.

How can I promote the growth of bottom eyelashes?

Bottom lash growth requires patience and consistent care. Utilize a lash serum formulated to stimulate lash growth. These serums often contain ingredients that nourish and strengthen lashes, encouraging healthy growth. It is important to remember that results take time.

Final word

The question of bottom lash mascara for older women isn’t about rigid rules, but about informed choices. It’s about understanding how makeup can evolve with you, enhancing your features without accentuating unwanted lines. The decision is yours: will you embrace the subtle definition of bottom lash mascara, or opt for a different approach? Regardless of your choice, remember that true beauty radiates from within, and makeup is simply a tool to enhance your inner glow.

5 great reasons you need the Lunette Menstrual Cup in your life – The Tezzy Files

by Lina Clémence May 30, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

I recently came across a shocking statistic… did you know that regular sanitary pads & tampons can take up to 800 years to decompose?! Imagine what we are doing to the planet month after month!

I have become a huge advocate of reusable menstrual products, and if you are weary of insertion techniques, the ModiBodi life-changing underwear range is a great investment. Click here for more info.

If you’re comfortable with tampons and really don’t like the damp feel, its high time you converted to the cup!

I was sent my very first cup by Lunette. For my full review and an insight on how menstrual cups are used, click on my IGTV post below:

And here’s 5 great reasons to convert to the Lunette Menstrual Cup:

Lunette Cup is zero-waste and eco-friendly

Being environmentally friendly is always a plus! Lunette will last for years and generates no waste, no accumulation of plastic applicators, wrappers, or bio-waste from used disposables. In fact, the Lunette box and enclosed informational material is made from recycled cardboard and paper, and you can compost or recycle the box. It’s a win-win situation.

It’s convenient

Because Lunette Cup can hold much more liquid, it only needs to be emptied 2 to 4 times per day during normal flow, so the times you have to deal with it are less frequent.

You won’t feel damp during your period

Lunette Cups are made with medical-grade silicone, which also means it’s not a bacteria friendly environment. With a menstrual cup, you can forget about feeling “wet” or uncomfortable down there and feel as if you weren’t even menstruating.

It’s all natural

With Lunette, you won’t have to worry about chemicals. The cup is hypoallergenic, toxin-free, durable and isn’t harmful to the human tissue.

You’ll save TONS of money

Say goodbye to your monthly run to your nearest grocery or convenient store to purchase your monthly box of period products! Making the switch to Lunette is a one-time cost that will last you hears. In fact, it pays for itself after a few months.

Investing in a Lunette Cup not only makes having your period a lot easier, but it helps in making that time of the month eco-friendlier and more cost-efficient too.

Lunette Menstrual Cup retails at AED 157.5 and comes in a vibrant violet colour and two sizes. It is available for purchase at Boots, Spinney’s and United Pharmacy stores and online on ,Mumzworld.com ,Noon.com , Amazon.com and Kibsons.com.

Hello beautiful Ladies,

Yes, when you are suffering from dry and rough skin you need not worry, because you have with you “Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow Body Lotion” by Hindustan Unilever limited. Sounds sassy? This is the magic of writing. I am getting more natural as I am writing more articles ;-). Anyways, you must all know about Vaseline. It is a very old, renowned, and trusted brand so one does not need to mull to give a try to any of its products.

What the product promises:

With pure Cocoa Butter and Stratys 3 Multi-layer moisture, Cocoa Glow lotion leaves your skin feeling healthy and glowing. This rich-feeling formula ignites skin’s natural glow at the source.

My take on “Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow Body Lotion”

I have very dry skin, so before trying out Vaseline Cocoa Glow whatever lotion I used to apply faded away in a few hours. My skin used to itch and look scaly as if I had not applied any lotion. Few body lotions are so oily that they get easily transferred to the clothes that make the clothes stink. Have you ever experienced this mixed fragrance: perfume plus body lotion? yuk.

My cousin advised me to start using Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa. She told me about the many benefits of cocoa and immediately I decided to give it a chance. One of the most sought-after benefits of cocoa is that it helps in reducing stretch marks. With Vaseline Cocoa Glow’s regular use, the stretch marks are almost gone.

Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow Body Lotion Review

Vaseline cocoa glow body lotion comes in a flip-open tube. The body lotion is a little off-white in colour and has a yummy chocolaty fragrance. This body lotion penetrates deep inside the first layer of the skin i.e. stratum corneum and makes it look hydrated. I use it regularly after a bath and apply it firmly all over the body. There is no fear of sticking or stinking as it is oil-free and has a beautiful chocolate fragrance. This body lotion glides easily onto the skin and does not require any extra effort to spread.

As I have already mentioned usually my skin becomes scaly and starts itching, sometimes the dryness reaches to an extent where I feel that my skin is tearing out. For the first time I used this body lotion my skin felt a drastic change. It felt soft and all the dryness was gone – such a big relief  My skin now looks healthy and shines out of happiness.

– It does not make skin oily as it gets readily absorbed into the skin.

– It easily spreads on the skin without requiring any extra effort.

– Unlike other body lotion it doesn’t does not get transferred to your clothes.

– Does not make my clothes stink.

What I don’t like about “Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow Body Lotion”

Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow does not come in small packs. Unlike other Vaseline body lotions, Cocoa Glow does not have samples. These samples are quite handy and can be conveniently carried in the handbags.

Friday Treat : Orange Popsicle Bomber Jacket

by Lina Clémence May 30, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

[unpaid/affiliate] I was very tempted yesterday to buy this when I saw it in Oliver Bonas but annoyingly they didn’t have my size. In real life it’s a sparkling (not glittery) fine knit jacket that is perfect for cooler summer evenings when you still need to bring the vibe but don’t want to suffer for it :-). The pictures don’t do the jacket any justice at all because its an effervescent and glinting kind of orange that isn’t Tango or Easyjet but is maybe a slightly burnt orange. I wish I’d taken a picture in store now. I’d wear this with a white dress, any denim at all and also any shorts at all. That said, if you need your top covered, you probably won’t have your legs out. It’s £60 HERE in sizes 6 to 18.

The other thing I spotted is this sheer linen knit from Jigsaw. You don’t often find ‘cardigans’ at this length – it’s got wide 3/4 sleeves (and because they’re 3/4 you don’t have to worry about draping through the soup) and stops literally on the waist. It’s such a handy and flattering stopping point because it’s ideal with dresses as a not-jacket-but-something wear and the fact that it’s sheer is even better.

The model pictures use an impossibly long-legged model (or she’s been digitally stretched) that I don’t think give you quite enough of an idea of flexibility. I had a similar length, drawstring, sheer cardi from GAP and I wore it for years and wore it to death – every time I didn’t want the tops of my arms out on show, on it went, over racerback tops, strappy dresses and strappy tops and because it’s so lightweight, it’s not going to add heat of any significance. The price is a whopping £11o but when I think of all the times I wore my GAP one, it wouldn’t be wrong to think of this as money well spent. It comes in brown as well and in sizes XS to XL HERE.

Travel itinerary: One week in Italy

by Lina Clémence May 30, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Only have one week left of annual leave and have your eye on Italy? Here’s how you can enjoy Tuscany, Umbria, and Rome in just a few days. One week in Italy is not the ideal travel itinerary – the more time, the better! But, it’s definitely still worth the trip, so here is the travel itinerary I followed when I was in your shoes.

I live in Edinburgh, in Scotland. We have direct flights to a few locations in Italy, mostly served by Ryanair, but they don’t run every day. In order to make the most of my trip, I booked a flight in to one airport, travelled around, and then flew out of a different city. It means two separate itineraries and trips, but I think it’s worth it to get to see more of the country.

One week in Italy travel itinerary: Pisa -> Florence -> Perugia -> Rome

Tips on travelling to and around Italy

My flight: EDI-PSA, FR3264, departing at 8:20AM, arriving 12pm

If you’re in Europe, Pisa is a great choice to fly into, or out of. There’s loads of Ryanair and Easyjet flights. The airport is easy to access from the city centre with a little monorail type train directly connecting the train station to the airport. It’s cheap and convenient, and the train station has a left luggage desk so you can enjoy the leaning tower unburdened by your bags!

We opted to just spend the day in Pisa, see the leaning tower have lunch, and then hop on a train to Florence. Trains are a fantastic way to travel around the country, and how we travel around to see as much of Italy as we can. This itinerary travels from Pisa, to Florence, to Perugia, to Rome. It uses only direct trains with less than three hour long journeys. The train between Pisa and Florence is less than an hour!

What to do in Florence

Florence is one of my favourite cities to visit. Forget one week in Italy, I could write a whole one week in Florence itinerary. Between the food, the views, the galleries, and the museums: there’s no shortage of things to do. While you’re here, make sure you visit some of the museums and galleries. If you only have a few days, I’d pick between the Palazzo Vecchio and Brunelleschi’s Duomo. Both have towers you can walk up to enjoy stunning views. But, one has a museum, the other has some stunning architecture and is one of the more famous Catholic churches. If you’re afraid of tight spaces, I’d recommend the Palazzo Vecchio! Plus, that way you get to see the Duomo from your viewpoint. That said, the Duomo does tend to be more of a “classic” tourist spot.

The Uffizi Gallery is the gallery to visit, but you have to book in advance and make some level of a plan for what you want to see because there’s no way to see it all in one day! I had my eye on Donatello’s David though, rather than Michelangelo’s. So, we headed to the Museo Nazionale del Bargello. If you’re a sculpture fan, this is the museum for you. Floors upon floors of sculptures in all varieties will greet you.

Other favourites of mine include Michelangelo’s Square at sunset, and the Ponte Vecchio with a gelato in hand. We lean into the tourist thing in Florence and spent a few evenings drinking in the square in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. The food is great everywhere in Florence, and this way we got to people-watch and enjoy the sculptures in the square too. One piece of advice I always follow is to pre-book one nice meal on your holiday so you know no matter what, you’re having a great meal. We booked at il Granaio, which serves classic Italian in a classy space off a little street. I’d definitely recommend!

List of tips:

  • Visit and climb to the top of the Duomo
  • Visit the Palazzo Vecchio Museum and climb its tower
  • Explore the Uffizi Gallery
  • Sculpture sightsee at the Museo Nazional del Bargello
  • Walk across the Ponte Vecchio
  • Walk to Michelangelo’s Square for sunset
  • Eat pizza at Gusto Leo (by Museo Nazional del Bargello)
  • Eat dinner at il Granaio
  • Find the small photo booth and take a series of photos – but you need coins and you will have to wait around 10 minutes for the machine to work its magic!

What to do in Perugia

With only one week in Italy it can be hard to find time in your itinerary to actually switch off and relax. Two days in Perugia in the middle of your holiday will do just that! This ancient Etruscan town is nestled on the top of a hill and is the perfect place to spend a few days just eating, drinking, and relaxing. There’s no shortage of restaurants or aperitivo spots, and if the drinks don’t help, the sunsets are sure to help your stress disappear.

In Perugia, you can enjoy the local museum, explore an Etruscan well, visit the factory of the famous chocolate makers ‘Baci’, and sit in the Giardini Carducci to watch the sun set. The hotel Sina Brufani has a stunning restaurant and bar located right next to the gardens. It’s a perfect spot for aperitifs before or after sunset. In the summer, Perugia is used to hosting many tourists, but in the winter it becomes a quieter, softer version of itself. Restaurants and tourist shops are still open, they’re just rather quiet. You’ll mostly run into students and people bustling about their usual day than you will run into tourists. It makes for a nice stop no matter what time of year!

List of Perugia tips

Sabrina in the foreground with a view of Umbria behind her
A close up of some of the architecture in Perugia
A view of a sunset over some hills in the distance
A view of one of the squares in Perugia's old town. It features coloured plaster and tiles.
The view from the garden at the top of Perugia

What to do in Rome

Really, a silly heading. What not to do in Rome?! The list of things to do is long. You’ll know which things you want to see most. My preferences are: the colosseum is quite cool to see, but book a guided tour and book in advance. Also, you can get really nice pictures with it from the Giardinetto del Monte Oppio, and nice spots for drinks with a view up there too. You’ll see plenty of Roman ruins while walking through Rome, so I don’t personally feel the need to pay to see them (though I have). The Trevi Fountain is overrun with tourists (myself included). My take is to get in, get a picture, and get out. It’s hard to stop and enjoy because tourists are there at all hours of the night these days.

My main piece of advice? Find some really nice restaurants. Italy has one of the highest percentages of people with Celiac disease, so if you’re gluten free, this is your time to shine.

List of Rome tips

  • Gluten free pizza at Pizza in Trevi (perfect for after visiting the nearby fountain!)
  • Guided tour of the Colosseum
  • Photos with the Colosseum at Giardinetto del Monte Oppio
  • Drinks at Volpe Pasini bistio italiano (or on Via Delle Terme di Tito) have nice views of the Colosseum
  • The usual tourist spots!

One week in Italy itinerary

Pisa, day 1: Arrive in Pisa! Get the airport tram to the train station, drop your luggage at the left luggage in the station. Then, head in to Pisa to see the leaning tower and eat some food. Once you’re satisfied, hop on the next train to Florence. Check in, and then head out to explore and get some drinks! We went to “touristy” spots in restaurants on the main squares and still enjoyed very nice food and wine at reasonable prices.

Florence, day 2: Start your morning with a walk to get your bearings and stop for a cappuccino and pastry. Visit the Museo Nazionale del Bargello, and stop in at Gusto Leo for lunch afterwards. Walk slowly over to the Palazzo Vecchio to enjoy some of the outdoor sculptures at Uffizi, before heading in to the Palazzo Vecchio to go up the tower. Afterwards, stop for gelato on your walk down the river to Michelangelo’s Square for sunset.

Florence, day 3: Up bright and early for a quick breakfast before you start your day at Uffizi Gallery! Spend as much time exploring as you can stomach before breaking for lunch. Afterwards, head over to the Duomo and don’t forget to have booked your tickets ahead of time! Take a walk over the Ponte Vecchio and have a look in all the different gioellerias before stopping for food. Dinner tonight at il Granaio would be a great way to top off a great trip to Florence.

Perugia, day 4: Travel to Perugia via train after breakfast. Don’t forget to grab a sandwich for the journey! You’ll enjoy some gorgeous views of Umbria along the ride. Once you arrive, hop on the cable car to get up into the city – otherwise you’ll be walking uphill for awhile! Check in, kick your feet up, and then head out for some aperitifs before sunset. Afterwards, walk over to Piazza IV Novembre and stop for dinner along the way.

Perugia, day 5: After breakfast, get your bearings with a guided tour of the city, or stop in the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria to explore the medieval artwork inside. Stop for lunch at one of the many little restaurants like Pasticceria Sandri, and then head over to the Etruscan Well to see a piece of history. Make sure you time your visit with one of their tours, they run hourly! Or, book ahead to visit the Baci Perugina factory and see how the chocolates are made. Make sure to hit up the gift shop before you leave, and have a chocolate for me! They’re my favourite. Dinner is at Enoteca di Perugia, a fantastic little wine bar in the old town.

Rome, day 6: Hop on an early train from Perugia to Rome. Make sure to grab snacks ahead of time, this is your longest train journey of the trip! When you arrive, you can safely tuck your bags away at Stow Your Bags by Termini Station, or leave them at your accommodation. Time to wander, and stop for food, and wander some more! Today would be a good day to visit the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps. The nice thing about Rome is everything is super close to each other! In the afternoon, take a guided tour of the Colosseum, and then head over towards the Roman Forum and Pantheon.

Rome, day 7: Leave this day free to do anything you couldn’t do on day one in Rome, or use it to visit the Vatican City. Make sure to eat your fill of gelato and all levels of delicious Italian food before you leave!

Whatever you take from this itinerary, I hope you enjoy your week in Italy! The trip might feel short, but it will be mighty.

Y.OU Skinsational Strawberry Rose Body Scrub REVIEW

by Lina Clémence May 30, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Y.OU  Skinsational Strawberry Rose Body Scrub Review – Haloha cynt’s! Alhamdulillah kelar puasa dan lebaran, mohon maaf lahir batin ya buat teman readers semuaaa. Kemarin pas bulan puasa enakeun banget punya banyak waktu untuk luluran, soalnya jam masak diskip karena kan puasa, ya paling buat si bocil saya aja enggak ribet masakannya.

Nah, body scrub yang saya gunain terakhir dibulan puasa buat luluran Y.O.U Skinsational Strawberry Body Scrub. Ini tuh salah satu body care terbarunya brand Y.O.U yang menggiurkan banget di IG official, difotonya kayak Ice Cream, cukup membuat saya tertarik banget-banget waktu itu hahaha…

Y.O.U Skinsational Strawberry Rose Body Scrub Review. Y.OU Cosmetics, Y.O.U Skincare, Y.O.U Body Care, Body Scrub, lulur lokal, Body scrub lokal, body scrub Y.O.U, Body scrub mencerahkan

“Gapapa coba deh, kalau bagus lanjut beli lagi…kalau biasa aja, ya cukup sampai disini…” #Eaaa

PACKAGING

Lebih berasa higiensi, good job Y.O.U !

Nah untuk keterangan produk, dijelasin dibagian badan kemasannya kayak ingredients utamanya yaitu :

Strawberry : Mencerahkan dan meratakan warna kulit.

Rose: Menenangkan dan menghidrasi kulit.

Sweet Almond Oil : Menutrisi kulit.

0% Alcohol

Anak tahun 90’an pasti tau permen sugus wkwkwk…

Aromanya manis.

Hasilnya saya suka banget! Soalnya enggak tau kenapa, lulur pake tekstur kayak gini ngerasa, proses luluran saya 2 kali lebih cepet! Jadi pas digosokan dibadan tuh, kayak yang cepet gitu prosesnya, enggak pake nunggu cream dari body scrub mengering segala untuk ngehilangin sensasi basah body scrub biar ngerontokin dakinya gampang. Cukup digosok dirasa merata, udah, bilas.

Dan pas proses bilasnya enggak lama buat ngilangin kesan licin dari residu body scrubnya. Biasanya saya harus bilas dibantu sabun mandi, kalau sekedar pake air ngebilas, bisa lamaaa…banget licinnya hilang. . Kalau Y.O.U Skinsational Strawberry Rose Body Scrub ini enggak, cukup mandi bilas air aja, udah! berasa bersih TOTAL! kesan licin hilang. LUV Bangett! sama finishnya cepet dan bikin kulit halus.

Hasilnya dikulit berasa bersih total, halus mulus, garis tekstur kulit lebih kesamar/ngeblur kulit keliatan berasa cantiks. Dan lumayan ada efek lebih cerahnya juga.

Sayangnya, untuk wanginya, setelah selesai luluran enggak semerbak pas baru diaplikasiin dikulit. Jadi agak semu gitu wanginya, enggak gitu berasa.

LIKE

DISLIKE

– Harga agak mahal menurut saya pribadi.
