The Panty Chronicles: Unraveling the Hilarious Quest for the Perfect “Garnerstyle” Panties

by Lina Clémence July 25, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round, for today we embark on a quest of epic proportions! We shall delve into the mysterious realm of undergarments, in particular, the  panties. Hold on to your knickers as we reveal the my requirements for this sacred piece of clothing!

1. The Crotch Conundrum: “A Wedgie-Free Zone!”

Ah, the eternal struggle of the front wedgie! Nobody, and I mean nobody, desires a bunching-up of fabric in their nether regions. It’s like having a permanent invitation to the most uncomfortable party in town! We demand a crotch wide enough to accommodate the most sizable of assets while ensuring they remain in their respective corners.  There are two places that I will not buy panties from, Victoria Secret and the pack panties from Fruit of the Loom. I’m not sure who those panties are made for but they are not made for thunedercat.

Picture this: you’re out and about, confidently strutting your stuff, and suddenly, it feels like your undies are playing a tug-of-war with your lady bits. It’s like your crotch has become the battleground for an epic showdown! Fear not, for the “Garnerstyle” panties are here to save the day, maintaining peace, comfort, and wedgie-free zones for all!

2. Sock-It-To-Me Waistband Wonder: A Belly Laughter Extravaganza!**

Now, who needs an itchy, scratchy waistband digging into their tummy? Nobody, that’s who! The “Garnerstyle” panties have declared a strict “sock-it-to-me” policy for all waistbands. When you slip into these undies, you’re in for a treat! It’s like a warm, gentle hug for your midsection, with the added bonus of avoiding any accidental displays of “panty peek-a-boo” to the unsuspecting public.

I heard through the grapevine that some of my ladies with a fupa turn their panties around to wear for added comfort. Just a thought.

3. The Invisible Seam Dream: Say Goodbye to VPL (Visible Panty Lines)!

You know what’s not funny? Visible panty lines, especially when they make an appearance at the most inopportune moments. Who wants to be caught sporting the “gridiron chic” look when heading out for a night on the town?

With the these panties, say goodbye to VPL embarrassment forever! I love a seamless pair of panties and recently Arula gifted me some panties.  These were awesome enough to talk about. They are seamless, soft and comfortable. Give them a try if you are looking for a new panty provider.

4. Back wedges are okay

I’ve come to the conclusion that this booty is gonna eat most anything. That’s all!

So there you have it, folks—the whimsical world of my requirements for panties! Remember, life is too short for uncomfortable undergarments. Embrace the hilarity, and let your panties be a source of joy and amusement. After all, laughter is the best medicine, even for your lingerie choices! 😄

Plus Size Occasion Dresses for Summer –

by Lina Clémence July 22, 2025

Summer is the season of weddings, showers, brunches, vacations, date nights, and just-because moments that call for something special to wear. Your perfect plus size occasion dress for summer is out there, and I want to help you find it.

Whether you’ve got a full calendar of events or just want to add some vibrance to your wardrobe, this post will point you to some of the best retailers for plus size occasionwear this season.

Where to Shop for Plus Size Occasion Dresses for Summer

Anthropologie | 3X–1X

Anthropologie’s collection of plus size summer occasion dresses is full of delicate florals, puff sleeves, and soft, flowy fabrics that are effortlessly romantic.

ASOS | 26–14

For trend-forward pieces and a huge selection that are made to stand out in a crowd, look no further than ASOS They have a great filtering function on their website. I personally like to narrow my search to include ‘Plus Size’ for Body Fit and ‘ASOS Curve’ and ‘ASOS Design’ for Brand for best results!

Eloquii | 32–14

Eloquii brings vibrant color palettes, dramatic sleeves, and confident cuts to plus size occasion dresses. Much like ASOS, these looks are perfect for any event where you want to make a statement.

Kiyonna | 32–00

Kiyonna is a brand perfect for weddings, anniversaries, or even more formal evening events. Their dresses are equal parts comfortable and classic.

Old Navy | 30–00

Old Navy’s collection, The Occasion, dropped earlier this year with a goal of bringing elevated, event-ready fashion that is budget-friendly, inclusive, and stylish.

Torrid | 30-10

Torrid isn’t necessarily known for their formalwear, but for a more casual event, they have some great options. If you haven’t checked Torrid out lately, they have started releasing themed internal brands like Belle Isle (coastal and beachy) and FESTI (boho and flowy). Definitely worth checking out!

Whatever’s on your calendar this season, your body is already worthy of showing up and shining. The best plus size occasion dresses for summer don’t try to “slim you down.” These brands offer more than just clothing—they offer ease, celebration, and the freedom to take up space in something that feels right.

Coming Full Circle

by Lina Clémence July 22, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Just booked my vacation to California for the end of this month and I’m super excited!  This trip is bitter sweet as I know this may very well be the last time I see my grandfather before he passes.  But I am very grateful to have the time and means to make it out!

The word traveled fast when I told my dad I booked the trip.  Within the hour I had calls from my cousin and other family members making sure I had them on the itinerary for a visit.  I have to say, it feels great to be in a place where my presence is wanted.  I miss California for sure and looking forward to all the fun things they have planned to do while I’m there.

One of the things on the agenda is Disney.  Nostalgic from my childhood, one of my earliest and fondest memories was visiting Disneyland for the first time.  Being in such awww of the beautiful sites and the excitement from seeing the characters filled me with joy.  I was more the thrill seeker so the faster the ride, the higher the roller coaster the more excited I became.  I’ve always had an attraction to adrenaline rushes and danger!
We also plan to hit Magic Mountain which was a place visited as a child also.  I remember my dad taking us as kids with all the cousins and we had a blast!  I had always wanted to be the son he never had, and strives to keep his approval.  Being the best was important.
That brings me to a bonding memory with my father when I was around 11.  He took me, my step brother and sister and my half sister to the dunes where you can ride doom buggies, dirt bikes and four wheelers.  My step brother was afraid to let loose and ride the quad.  It really pissed my dad off that he was “driving ms daisy” on an expensive piece of machinery that was designed to speed through the dunes and kick ass.  So he made him grt off and told him to get in the baby doom buggy.  He then sets me up on the quad, tells me how to drive it since this was my first time and vroom I was gone!  Flying over the hills you couldn’t even tell I was a girl the way I was hauling ass through the dunes.  After a nice run, I come back and my dad is smiling from ear to ear and says, “Now that’s how you ride a four wheeler!  That’s my girl!”

It came naturally to have no fear and just take risks, go for it and if I fail, get back up and try again.  A value that would remain with me my whole life and I just realized how that moment was pivotal to who I am.   The fearless confidence that my father instilled in me since birth was the very foundation of my happiness today.
So needless to say, this trip is beyond over due and can’t get here soon enough!

Amazon product review: Plus size pencil skirt

by Lina Clémence July 21, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

You never know what to expect when you are shopping online and especially with plus size clothing.  Finding quality, fitting fashionable items is difficult at best. The internet can surely mislead you with altered photos and what you actually receive is nothing like the photo.

I took a chance with Amazon hoping to find the perfect pencil skirt.  My issue is that I have a belly flap.  Better known as an “apron” as it’s sagging skin and belly fat that hangs rather than a rounded belly or flat stomach.  My waist is small, belly flap and then thick thighs make for a strange figure that clothing usually fits either too small at the hips or too big at the waist.

Here is what I ordered:

Here is how the skirt fit on me:

I admit, I may have ordered it a tad bit too big, but I would much rather have it be a little loose rather than too small to get into.  It’s comfortable, and it’s the perfect length!  This was a great purchase and I am so happy I took a chance with this pencil skirt!

The Child

Shirt: Target | Bottoms: Target | Shoes: Nike | Jacket: Vintage (my dads)
Happy 2021!
I can’t believe it’s a New Year again. But it’s a great time to have a fresh positive start. Iv learned a lot in 2020  and I will be sharing more information/details with you in a later post. That being said this is my first post back from my long disappearance. I still feel bad for being gone but I feel like my energy is better now.
When it comes to my outfit, my style is still the same Urban City Kid. I have been obsessed with two things though. One being this vintage jacket that used to be my dad’s back in the day. It’s so comfortable and the quality is amazing. The other being The Mandalorian, Grogu (aka The Child) in particular. I have been a Star Wars fan since I was a child. I remember one Christmas I asked my mom for this R2-D2 cassette player. It was absolutely amazing!  But yeah, I’m an OG fan.
So My question for you is, “What have you been obsessed with lately?”
