Where Bloggers Live: Korea Is the Land of Skincare (and I Still Don’t Have a Routine)

by Lina Clémence July 20, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Welcome to Where Bloggers Live: 2025! Happy New Year! “Where Bloggers Live” started out kind of like HGTV’s “Celebrities at Home,” but…with bloggers! We all like to peek behind the scenes and see inside people’s homes, interests, and lives, so every month this wonderful group of seven bloggers family of amazing women shares their work-spaces, homes, towns, and thoughts, with posts based on specific prompts. It’s been so interesting over the years to see the different ways each of us interpret the topics.

Oh boy. This one’s gonna be a doozy. This month’s theme is Makeup/Beauty/Skincare.

Uhm. I don’t really…do that.

I brought makeup to Korea with me, and I think I used mascara once. Which makes it extra ironic that I’ve lived in Korea, the world capital for skin care and beauty, for two years and have still not adopted a skincare routine.

I stopped wearing daily makeup around 2018 or 2019. Not because I’d given up on myself, but because I’d stopped caring what anyone else thought. I’d put on a little something for outfit photos because yeah, it helps on camera. But in real life? Nope.

Even when I did wear makeup, I’m such a face-sweater it would all melt off in minutes. Just a total waste of time and money.

Credit: https://beautytap.com/2017/07/dos-donts-of-korean-makeup

That said, Korean makeup is lovely. So natural and subtle. Most of the time you can barely tell it’s there, but it still works its magic…highlighting, softening, balancing. I’ve even considered going in for a Korean makeup makeover and lesson. Maybe. We’ll see.

Now when I see Americans or other non-Koreans on TV, I’m like whoa, makeup! Like the whole point is to make sure you see it.

As for skincare, sure, I’ve tried products over the years. We all want to believe the promises on the label. But honestly? Most of them never feel all that different to me. Not enough to justify the cost or effort.

I did buy face masks to take to the US as gifts when I went back in March…

The one thing I do do (I said doo doo) is moisturize. I might wash my face with dish soap (true story), but I will always moisturize afterward. Immediately, while my skin is still damp.

I’m very particular about moisturizers. They must be light, water-based, and absolutely cannot contain sunscreen. I understand why they add it, but for me it’s like Saran Wrap—instant heat flash, pores blocked, full sweat meltdown. Let me decide when and where to use sunscreen, thank you.

My moisturizing journey started with the original Oil of Olay, stolen in drops from my mother’s vanity in the ’70s.

Mother: Did you use my Oil of Olay?
Me: No.

That lasted me for years, until they changed the formula. I blame the advent of sunscreen.

After suffering through a disappointing (and costly!) series of thick, greasy, pore-blocking imposters, my niece recommended Avalon Organics CoQ10 moisturizer. It was a bit pricier, but worth it. Light, effective, and with a lemon-vanilla scent that reminded me of homemade ice cream my aunt and uncle used to make every summer in their hand-cranked wooden bucket ice cream maker. Sadly, eventually they too jumped on the sunscreen wagon. I bought old stock off eBay for a while, but eventually it disappeared.

Then came another cycle of wasting money on disappointing products that contained (#HowManyTimesCanISaySunscreen) sunscreen, until I discovered Trader Joe’s Nourish Oil-Free Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer. It’s light, oil- and sunscreen-free, reasonably priced, and easy to find (in the US). I’ve been using it for at least five years, and unless they ruin it, it’ll go to the grave with me. I brought two bottles to Korea in 2023 and just restocked in March when I was in the US.

Did you think anyone could write seven paragraphs about moisturizer? Surprise!

And since I’ve got nothing to say about “beauty” (other than it being in the eye of the beholder) here’s a quick body moisturizer tip that I have used since my teens:

Baby oil. The cheapest kind you can find. Keep it in the shower with the shampoo and conditioner. After your shower, while you’re still wet, wrap your hair up in a towel turban, then drizzle baby oil over your body…arms, legs, everywhere (except under your boobs, no extra moisture needed there). Lightly swipe it on, give it a couple minutes (brush your teeth, blow your nose, squeegee the shower door, do Keigels, whatever), then towel off. You won’t wipe it all away, it’ll have sunk in just enough to keep you moisturized all day. Fast and cheap.

Want to feel fancy? Pour the baby oil into a resealable bottle, spritz a couple spritzes of your favorite perfume into it (just a little), use as above, and enjoy longer-lasting scent on your skin and your towels. And no, it won’t ruin your towels.  You’re welcome.

And I can’t talk about skincare without mentioning that South Korea is the skincare capital of the world. Koreans really do have stunning skin. That “glass skin” look..smooth, poreless perfection. They market products to help you get it, but honestly, I think they’re just born that way. Decades of sun avoidance, umbrellas, visors, hats, masks, sunscreen every day. I think that’s what keeps their skin so beautiful.

You’ve probably heard of the 10-step Korean skincare routine: double cleanse (oil + water-based), exfoliate, toner, essence, serum, sheet mask, eye cream, moisturizer, click your heels three times and clap your hands. And sunscreen, of course. Every single day. That’s…a lot. Of steps. Of products. Of money. Pass.

In conclusion: I may look ugly…but at least it was cheap to look this way 🙂

Take a look at my friends’ blogs as well, to see why they’re so beautiful…inside and out…

Life This Week in South Korea: July 7-13, 2025

by Lina Clémence July 19, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Monday, July 7

It doesn’t look pretty, but it’s yum. Chicken kebab bowl with french fries.

Big News! I left the building! Ha ha. I walked with friend K to the kebab place in the alleyway behind our building to get dinner. Not far, but far enough, as it is HOT.

Was in the mood for an italian ice, but…I don’t think that’s a thing in Korea. I got this mystery cup instead. You know the like wax coke bottle candies? This is sort of like that, but ice instead of wax…and super tart fruit flavors instead cola. Did not like. Ate anyway.

Started my clean-out. Went through like 15 spiral notebooks and had to tear all the pages out so they could go in one bin and the metal spiral thingies could go in another. THAT was not a fun task, but it’s done and the pile is smaller. Tomorrow is the textbooks.

NOT a fun task.

Tuesday, July 8

Hibiscus is the national flower of Korea. This is like a weed bush on Long Island. They reseed themselves EVERYWHERE and when it’s not flowering it’s a very nondescript shrub.

Whoa. Woke up this morning and felt like going outside for a walk. Of course, the hottest day of the year and NOW I want to go out! So I walked around the lake on campus, took some pictures. Probably won’t make that walk again. I did not go up the hill…and I was not carrying a heavy bookbag, so it wasn’t as difficult as it used to be to walk to class…and I stopped and sat everytime there was a spot to stop and sit.

Came back, cold-showered, did my remote work, fought with some things on the computer, lay down for just a little bit with my eyes closed – did not fall asleep. Got KFC, watched an episode of my current kdrama…fought with the computer some more…

Wisteria-covered pergola at the top of the lake. This used to be my rest stop on my way to class, before I started my ascent on the hill.

I’m trying to do a 30-day challenge on TikTok – preparing to leave Korea. But I’m filming on a little video camera and I transfer them to the laptop with the sd card and THEN comes the struggle of trying to get them onto the phone to upload to TikTok (I can upload them from my laptop but I can’t add captions or music or anything). Phone cable, bluetooth, airdrop, icloud, onedrive, dropbox…I’m trying all these things…the video is not even 2 minutes long, people upload MUCH larger files to their phones, why does it have to be such a problem every time I try to do it?? I finally got it moved over, I can’t even tell you how I did it cuz I was trying so many things, it was just finally in my files on my phone, I have no idea what put it there. But I hate when the computer fights me. Why can’t we all just get along??

These are the lake geese.

Wednesday, July 9

Lotte Tower

Finally got to an iconic Seoul destination I’ve wanted to go to since I first got here! Two friends went with me, and I was glad of that cuz otherwise I might have bailed at the last minute.

View to the west, overlooking the Han River, with Namsan Tower on the mountain in the distance right under the sun.

Lotte Tower is the tallest building in Korea, and the sixth tallest in the world. Up near the tippy top they have some observation decks where you can see a lot of Seoul laid out before you. It’s not in the MIDDLE of Seoul, but it’s in the midst.

We tried to pick out landmarks, but couldn’t quite place where we live (they both live in my building).

Seoul is the land of high-rise apartment complexes. The big green space is Olympic Park, the main venue for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Now it’s a giant cultural and recreational space. I went there once with She Who is Dead to Me in the fall of 2023 when we were trying to find pink muhly grass and walked a MILLION miles. Never found the pink muhly grass. But I can attest to the fact that the park is HUGE.

The evening was SO HOT. I think the day maxxed out at 99 degrees (F).

I got home just in time for a (quick cold shower and a) 10pm call from an insurance broker (#thankstammy) and got some clarity on my whole “after Korea,, after 65, traveling internationally” situation…and it looks like it might be a little more affordable than I’d at first thought. I still have to decide on the international insurance. I’d been working with a broker there, too, but she’s disappeared ;-\ But at least all that is getting sorted out.

Thursday, July 10

Sky from my window.

Stayed in and took it easy today. I’ve started a daily series on TikTok: 30 Days til I Leave South Korea, and every day I’ll be sharing what I did that day to prepare to leave, sometimes it’ll be real prep stuff, like getting rid of stuff in my room or getting my last Korean haircut…and other days it will be me doing something from my “before I leave Korea” bucket list. Like yesterday was the trip to Lotte Tower…and today was how I have to start eating/using up all the food in my room.

I used to post my daily OOTDs on TikTok every day without fail, when Fashion Schlub was still more…fashion. But when I started being more about Korean content and just my daily life, I just could not get into a regular routine. Now I have No Excuses! And so part of the series is me challenging myself to post something every day and to learn more video/editing stuff. Cuz right now I’m Really Bad.

If you’re interested, I’m at Bettye’s Big Adventure

Friday, July 11

Ironically, I’ve had the thought a couple times this week…”ooh, I didn’t take a nap today!” I thought maybe I was all caught up on my rest. So today I was surprised when, while I did have plans, I just kept sleeping and sleeping…all the way til 12:30pm!

Capybara pudding hee hee

I did get myself up and out around 6:30 to go to a cafe that has capybara shaped jiggly pudding, whicb I’ve wanted to try since even before I came to Korea! It was three bus rides away, which is more than I typically do (my limit is usually two), but I made it. Had a nice little dinner of a really good cream cheese and tomato bagel sandwich, which was way more tasty than I expected…a lemon pomegranate ade (they’re all about the ades here)…and the yummy capybara-shaped chocolate pudding.

It was late and dark (8:30) by the time I was all done, so I ubered home.

Saturday, July 12

Guess What I Did?!?

I went into “my” coffee shop! The new “regret” coffee shop. Today was their opening day. I was busy all morning getting rid of stuff in my room that’s not going home with me (that was not much fun), so it was late by the time I went and they had no more baked goods 🙁 The banana bread had looked So Good on their Instagram. But the barista (maybe the owner) gave me the sweetest orange to make up for it, which I thought was very kind. I loved sitting at the table in front of the window, it was great people watching on a Saturday afternoon. There was a man sitting at a a table when I got there, working on his laptop, so that’s a thing. I will definitely take advantage of my remaining few (FOUR) weeks here to work in the coffee shop with all the cool kids, ha ha.

Since today was a productive day, tomorrow should be a fun day, but I don’t know what. There are a lot of places I won’t go on the weekend cuz they’re just too crowded. But it looks like a lot of rain is coming in the next week, so…it’s a tough call. I never did make the spring/summer bucket list wheel.

Sunday, July 13

Crashed today. I did a lot more this week than I’d been doing and I think it caught up with me. And more on the agenda for next week!

PS: I’m writing this on Monday, July 14…when I was just walking home from the bus, I was passing The Coffee Shop and the barista/owner was out front fiddling with the awning…she saw me, did the “ooh!” recognition face and head nodded to me and I head nodded to her…and look,  I’M PRACTICALLY A REGULAR!!! 🙂

Best lip balm for dry and chapped lips in 2021

Ever heard of lanolin? It’s a skincare ingredient that has been around for over 8000 years. First used in Ancient Egypt, Egyptians would place blocks of solid lanolin wax on their heads. When they contacted the sun, the blocks would melt dispersing the lanolin all over their faces, making their skin soft and moisturized. But things have changed since then. Lanolin is typically used in a cream form, it is an effective emollient that locks in moisture and prevents water loss (most notably used in nipple creams). Despite all of that, some people are fearful about using lanolin as it can irritate sensitive skin and cause reactions, my gran for one cannot use lanolin because of this. However, today, we explore lanolin in other forms.

So, what exactly is lanolin?

Lanolin is a substance derived from sheep’s wool. It essentially comes in the form of a yellow wax secreted from the sebaceous glands of sheep. Lanolin acts as a waterproof shield, protecting sheep’s skin and wool from any weather change, whether it’s rain, frost or snow. Lanolin used by humans is garnered from sheep that are raised explicitly for wool. The lanolin oil is extracted from the wool before it is processed to make products such as clothes. Please note: lanolin extraction does not cause harm to the sheep!
Despite being a skincare ingredient that has been around for centuries, lanolin has been placed on the back burner, until recently with the introduction of Lanolips.

Lanolips is Australia’s number 1 lanolin company that has been turning the heads of celebrities and beauty experts throughout the beauty industry. The brand itself has won over 50 global beauty awards which is unheard of for such a new brand. Lanolips use Ultra-Medical Grade lanolin within all their products, branding them as “Nature’s Wonder Moisturiser”. Now, medical-grade lanolin is used within the pharmaceutical industry, including hospitals, it is a much purer form of lanolin which is used for healing burns and wounds because of its strong skin compatibility. As well as this, the lanolin used throughout their range is scientifically proven to closely resemble lipids in human skin, meaning that it acts as a moisture magnet that holds 400% of its weight in moisture, allowing the skin to self-hydrate from within.

One product that I am absolutely in love with from Lanolips is their Lemonaid Lip Treatment. This is a semi-permeable, richly-whipped lip ointment which contains lemon oil that naturally exfoliates the lips and, of course, the star ingredient, lanolin which delivers the most intense hydration. I always apply lip balm to my lips before going to sleep, and with this one, I actually wake up the next day with the softest and supple lips. As well as offering lip products, they also have a range of face products and multi-purpose balms which can be used all over, on the face, hands and body. And if that didn’t tell you how good it is, the Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi Balm sells globally every minute!

Five brands to have on your radar this SS21

by Lina Clémence July 18, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Written by

Lauren Nicole Coppin Campbell

Whether Spring/Summer will be spent in lockdown or vacaying in the South of France, one things for sure. I will not allow Rona to mess up my fashion plans. If I have to wear that dress to the supermarket or my living room, I will. Nothing will get in my way.

This year, I’m hanging up the loungewear – well at least trying to – and switching it out for pieces that spark joy and feel like a moment worthy of a sunset Instagram picture. So, if you’re in need of some inspiration on what to wear this Spring/Summer, pandemic permitting, I’ve got you covered.

Andrea Iymah

While this might be a wishful purchase, I’m not mad about it if it gets me one step closer to living my best life at the beach. Andrea Iymah owned by Nigerian fashion designer Andrea Dumebi Iyamah, is a clothing line strongly inspired by ethnic cultures and elements of nature. Designed for the adventurer in spirit, mind and style, A.I’s use of bold colours, modern feminine and retro classic silhouettes will have you daydreaming of vacationing in Tulum or sitting by a pool in a riad in Marrakech. Catering to women in sizes XS-XXXL, there’s nothing stopping anyone from strutting their stuff in these pieces, whether that strut will be from your bedroom to your living room or the pool to the bar, that’s all up in the air, but either way, I’m in love.

Lips + Honey

After trawling through Instagram in need of some new fashion inspo, I found Lips + Honey. Worn by the likes of Cinzia Baylis-Zullo, Sofia Jamora and Nikita Dragun, this Los Angeles brand is a firm favourite for the IG Baddies. And even if that isn’t your kind of vibe, the Bianca dress is what summer dreams are made of. Worn over swimwear, tucked into a pair of jeans or simply be itself, the mesh dress would be perfect for this SS21.

The Line by K

It’s highly likely that you already know this brand. But for those who don’t, allow me to introduce you to The Line By K. Launched in 2015 by fashion blogger-turned-designer, Karla Deras. The collection has been by the likes of Solange Knowles, Kim Kardashian and JLo. With the aim to create a collection of pieces that compliment your favourite things in your wardrobe, their garms are the basics that aren’t basics. Each design is effortless, sexy and chic that could be worn with anything, to anywhere.

Miaou

Like an ode to the 90’s supermodels, this collection feels like the most modern yet nostalgic teleportation to the ’90s. A sexy mixture between a Diddy, Bad Boys, party in Miami and a snapshot of models just before they get ready for a New York Fashion Week after-party; there’s sophistication and essence of sex appeal that comes with Miaou. Which explains why their muses include women like Paloma Elsesser, Sami Miro and Kali Uchis; as each woman exude a modern, yet vintage classic feel about them.

Anima Iris

Anima Iris is disrupting the global fashion industry by redefining luxury and including Africa in its narrative. This black-owned luxury designer brand pulls inspiration and strength from the matriarchs of its past. Through the use of colours, geometric shapes and cloth, the brand pays homage to Africa’s bold history. Every piece is carefully handcrafted by seasoned professionals in Dakar, Senegal. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is what made us fall in love. Get ready to shop the spring/summer ’21 collection, it’s everything and more.

The Art of Dating | FabEllis

by Lina Clémence July 18, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Sis,

Do men still complain about the cost of dating these days? This thought came to me last week because if you follow me online, I have been outside a lot these days. From art galleries to music events, I have been going out and enjoying myself. All of the events I have been to lately have been free and several have even had free alcohol as well. This is why the question of complaining about the cost of dates came to mind for me recently. I have been married for almost nine years and one thing my husband and I have been big on since day one is continuing to have fun and date each other.

With us, we’ve always prioritized dating, but dates do not have to be expensive. In the earliest years of us being together, we used Groupon frequently to try new places in Greensboro and Raleigh. We were two people in our twenties still trying to figure out life, but in the midst of us trying to figure out life, we made spending time a priority. Spending time together never has to cost a lot of money. One of our favorite dates til this day is going to the movies on Tuesdays because Regal has Discount Tuesdays. Plus, we look for new experiences like, No Skips, that we recently went to, which was such a dope music experience and it was completely free.
New experiences are out there if you’re willing to look for them. That’s what this month’s reflection is really centered on. New experiences do not have to be costly. While we love going going out together, I have embraced doing more things solo. In the last couple of months, I have gone out to coffee shops to get work done, a local networking event for women and even shot content solo. Going to the networking event alone felt a little awkward, but I pushed myself to go, I met several great women from the area and in the end, I was glad that I went.

If I can leave you with something, I want to leave this… Date yourself and date your person. Look for more in this life and be willing to try new things. I grew up in a household where a lot of the people around me placed limitations on themselves due to religion as well as what I feel were their own fears. Because of this, I lived in a lot of fear of doing new things until my mid-twenties. Something clicked in me one day that I knew there was more to this life and this world than what I’d seen and I wanted to explore more of it.

I want that for everyone around me. I want you to want more. What more is will be different for everyone, but I want you to know that you don’t have to ever limit yourself. Also, don’t limit yourself due to money. Being an entrepreneur like I am often places me on a budget, but I don’t let that limit me or my experiences. I find events that are free and I go out there. I hope this will encourage you to go out there too sis.

All artwork is by Beverly McIver and is currently on display at CAM Raleigh in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.

What is a free or affordable activity you enjoy doing?

God bless & stay fab,

Safe Spaces for Everyone | FabEllis

by Lina Clémence July 17, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Sis,

A few years ago, it was brought to my attention that a lot of my friends are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. It was an observation spoken, not in a malicious way, but it was noticed. I suppose as a Christian and someone who identifies as heterosexual, it may be something that others didn’t quite understand. I kind of laughed at the observation at the time, but when I thought more in depth about it, I realized what they stated was a fact. Many of my friends do identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The reality for me is that I love people. I love all people. I grew up in a home where I never really felt comfortable to be my authentic self so I masked a lot of my quirks and intricacies to make it easier for others to understand me (i.e. people pleasing). While I realize sexuality is not a quirk, I do believe it’s a part of who you are and I’ve always felt I wanted to accept people for who and where they are. I never wanted to make any one feel judged or unable to be their complete, full selves around me.

I want everyone I encounter to feel like they have a safe space with me. Safe spaces are so needed in this day and sadly, so many of us do not have them. I want to be able to provide that for many. Growing up in the South in the traditional Baptist church, the approach to the gay community at that time from what I’d seen was to shun and even sometimes embarrass gay attendees. I have heard stories more than a few times from friends about being called out by preachers in front of the congregation and made to feel like a spectacle.

I do not think this is what Christianity is. I feel that God loves everyone. We are to love people and not judge them. At the end of the day, what do you think will have the most impact? Love or ridicule? As Pride Month comes to a close, I want to share a few film recommendations that really helped me learn about the history of the LGBTQIA+ community and movement.

I first started diving into learning more about the community back during quarantine and I’ve learned so much in the last few years. I think to better understand others, you have to learn more about their history. I hope that these films, if you haven’t seen them yet, will leave you more enlightened.

1. Paris is Burning (MAX, Amazon Prime)

2. The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson (Netflix)

3. The Inspection (On Demand)

4. POSE (Hulu)

This is one of my favorite shows and if you watch Paris is Burning, you will see how much the show is based on real stories and experiences.

What documentaries and movies would you recommend for those wanting to learn more about the LGBTQIA+ community?

God bless and stay fab,

Like for the last post, this one will not have much text. The outfit was planned to be worn at the first open air parties or for a sunny Sunday walk through the city – meeting friends and having a drin. I´m not super pessimistic – I´m doing fine, have my job and a lot to do – but writing about fashion is kind alf strange for me right now.

Even fashion is fun and it is a great distraction. Because of that I decided to continue posting, but as mentioned above, only the pics.

Bump Biddy Is Here To Deliver Size Inclusive, Trendy Fashion For Expec – Curvy Sense

by Lina Clémence July 16, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

She’s here! She’s here! Our sister company, BumpBiddy.com has officially launched and we’re so excited!

via GIPHY

So, what is Bump Biddy?

Bump Biddy is a collection of glam apparel, designed to make any mama, any size, feel fabulous and confident! We noticed that the maternity market was lacking, both with cute trendy styles, and plus size options. As we’ve grown and have been looking for our next steps, this seemed like an undertaking we could handle, and be proud of.

What sets Bump Biddy apart?

If you didn’t know, we at Curvy Sense make most of our clothes in house, here in Los Angeles, in order to ensure fit and quality. With that capability we’ve been able to do the same with Bump Biddy. Our designer is a loving mommy of two, and with her at the lead we make 96% of the styles in house, that way we can make sure everything’s perfect! It also allows us to keep our prices super low, which we know every mom, and mom-to-be, can appreciate.

Now you can save for baby AND look fabulous! You can shop styles ranging from casual, to sexier date night looks, and some great baby shower options:

The Nikki Floral Print Tank Dress is super soft and can be paired with some sandals, and make a perfect casual, every day dress, or toss on some heels and rock it at your next summer bash!

Slip in to the Melanie Lace Bodycon Dress, take advantage of that glow you got goin’ on, and remind bae exactly how that bun got in your oven. 😏

Looking for a dress to wear to your baby shower? We recommend this simple, yet chic, and oh-so comfy Candice Ribbed Dress!

But, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Take a look at more on BumpBiddy.com and tell an expecting friend!

It’s dark and cold, you know what that means – time to curl up under the blankets, and Netflix and… SHOP! We recommend starting with our new Handbags!

Our new styles are perfect for adding a splash of color to your wardrobe, adding some texture, or a conversation starter, because everyone is going to want to know, “where’d you get that bag?”

Take a look at some of our new additions to CurvySense.com:

The El Dorado Snake Print Crossbody Box Purse in Powder Blue

This cute crossbody bag is perfect for a casual jeans and t-shirt look, or dress it up with a little black dress. It’s also available in a Cognac, or if snake isn’t your thing, get it in solid Black or Red.

The Bethlehem Bee Faux Leather Crossbody in Black

The holiday’s got you running around, busy as a bee? Get a bag to match! This cute crossbody is the perfect companion for marking things off your lists, and checking them twice! It’s also available in Wine, Red, and Stone.

The Kingston Snake Print Circle Fringe Handbag in Red

‘Tis the season to rock some red, and this purse will have you rockin’ in to the holidays! Bring an edge of danger to your looks with the studs, and fringe, on this snake print bag. Use it as a crossbody, or remove the strap and carry it around by the cut-out handle. Also available in a Taupe Snake, or solid Mustard and Black.

The Medellin Convertible Belt Bag in Cognac

Belt bags are super trendy right now, because they’re convenient and easy, and can be super cute, like this one! The great part about this one is you can rock it casually with the belt strap, as seen here, or it comes with a crossbody strap too! Grab it in this color, or in Black, Green, or Red.

The Houston Snake Print Envelope Crossbody in Black

Another trend is small bags! Hop on the trend train with this small – but not too small – envelope bag, perfect for holding all of your necessities on a night out with the girls. This cutie is also available in Taupe.

Grab these and more new styles, on CurvySense.com and show us how you style them by posting a photo to Instagram and tagging us! We might feature you on our page!
