Conducted over an eight-month period, the SPROUT study (Supporting Pediatric Growth and Health Outcomes) involved 330 children between the ages of 2 and 5 who were either undernourished or at risk. These children showed twice the height gain and 50% more lean mass development—including stronger bones and increased muscle—compared to those who didn’t.
