Evita! – Endellion Theatre Company April 2018

At the end of March I started working on Endellion’s production of Evita which took place in a church (the scale of staging was insane, I have never seen anything quite like it!) A vast majority of the costumes had arrived prior to me joining the team due to prior commitments and illness on my part. It was indeed a crazy few weeks with a lot of tears and self doubt but I came out the other side having learnt a lot about myself and what I can handle. I also made some amazing friends from backstage crew to the fabulous cast we had, I was extremely lucky to work with so many talented people in one place and mostly ones that were on the same wave length as me.

My title for this job was Costume Supervisor and I worked on the menswear department.

Below a selection of the wonderful men who I was in charge of! Full uniforms hired from Flame Costumiers half military a mixture of Loft Costume Hire and sourced braces and granddad shirts by me. The womens department was full of pretty dresses, all the accessories you can imagine and some fabulous hat but I have to admit I love working with a group of guys probably because I’m the least ladylike person imaginable and just get stuck in.

Wig setting not done by me! Done by the amazing John Cumberlidge who is the reason I got into theatrical wig work! However I was his assistant from 5.30pm until 7pm each show night to wrap the ladies hair in preparation for wigs after this I would then style the hair of the female cast who weren’t wearing wigs and also set some of the mens as well!

Pitch Yourself Workshop: Wednesday April 3rd 6 PM pst

by Lina Clémence July 3, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Brianna here, and by popular demand, I am hosting a “Pitch Yourself” workshop on Wednesday April 3rd 6 PM pst

As an influencer who has made a living online for 10+ years – I am an expert at pitching myself to brands. Not only have I been doing this, successfully, for myself – I’ve also worked FOR some of these brands. I’ve done both sides of this. I know what they’re looking for, and how you can communicate it to them. If you’re looking to make money online in 2024 and RAISE your rates, this is the workshop for you.

WHAT is the “Pitch Yourself” Workshop:

An hour long Zoom course where we will go through all the information you need to feel confident in your electronic press kit, known as an EPK, as well as your content creation rates, and other ways to make money online. I will break down how to properly pitch yourself to brand partners.

In the hour course we will:

  • Talk about multiple ways to make money online whether you have 100 followers or 100K+ followers.
  • Everything EPK – what to include, how to brand yourself, how to get your EPK to make you MONEY!
  • Rate Sheet – what you should be charging and what people are making online
  • How to pitch yourself – how to cold email brands you’re dreaming of working with and how to re engage brands you’ve worked with in the past
  • Unique ways to get creative and start making money online right now

A little about me and my professional experience:

Brianna McDonnell is a Los Angeles, CA based actor, creative director, producer, and influencer. Her mission? Make fat positive media to change the world. The B Word started as a personal style blog, and production company, in 2015 but continues to transition into something much bigger.

For the past 10+ years Brianna has been creating, sharing and working in the digital marketing space. Having worked as a digital strategist, passionate about diversity and inclusion, Brianna has experience with everything from small businesses to fortune 500 companies. Currently, she works as a producer at a creative agency. Some of her accounts include beauty industry leaders, like L’oreal, as well as some of the most successful media production companies in the world..

WHY I’M DOING THIS WORKSHOP.

I do this professionally – as an influencer and I manage influencers and content creators everyday for work. I have been on every side of a brand partnership: as the creator, as the brand, as the agency. I have funded every single B Word-produced shoot and product through brand partnerships. I KNOW you can do this. I also deeply believe that due to a lack of transparency, knowledge and information creators are being severely underpaid. I want to empower any creator, especially marginalized creators, to make more money online, partner with brands of their dreams and to have the balls to pitch themselves. If you are not pitching yourself for paid partnership work, you are leaving money on the table. PERIOD.

HOW the “Pitch Yourself” Workshop works?

It’s pay what you can – so, you pay what you can. I offer a suggestion of $25 but there is no pressure if you simply cannot. Money shouldn’t stand in your way. Once you have paid for your spot in the workshop, you will receive a welcome email that will tell you what materials you should prepare before the workshop(EPK, rate card, list of brands you’ve worked with and a list of brands you want to work with). It’s not mandatory to have all, or any, of these items- but it is advised so that you get the MOST out of our time.

The day of the workshop, Wednesday April 3rd, you will receive an email reminder with the zoom link. The workshop will start at 6PM PST and last at least an hour (I’m a long winded, passionate talker). The last work shop ran about 90 mins. During the workshop we will walk through all my tips with a presentation your camera won’t be on so come relaxed. The goal is to have each participant leave feeling empowered, motivated and ready to PITCH THEMSELVES TO BRANDS! There will be a Q+A.

Due to the nature of this pay what you can workshop, your payment will be non-refundable

After the class – you will receive a follow up email with an offer to purchase the recording of our workshop or invest in some one-on-one coaching (I see you in my DMs asking). This will be a special offer for those who attended the workshop only – and will be based on capacity. One-on-one coaching will be offered at a special rate exclusively for those who attend this one time workshop!

I simply cannot wait – it’s going to be an incredible workshop! I’m so passionate to help creators GET in their creator bag + make more money! Now is the time.I’m excited to chat with you.
