Rainbow Ready with Glam that Gives Back from Quo Beauty, Peace Out and HAUS LABS!

by Lina Clémence July 9, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

If there’s anything better than bold, beautiful Pride products, it’s bold, beautiful Pride products that give back. This month, look good, feel good and do good with these three fabulous ways to shop with purpose and celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Quo Beauty is turning up the joy this Pride with a limited-edition collection that’s as vibrant as a dance floor at 2 a.m. Think high-voltage colour, sparkle that won’t quit and serious self-expression vibes.

Here’s what I’m especially loving from the collection:

Quo Beauty Rainbow Maker – $10 – instant rainbow realness. A swipe of this and you’re basically a walking parade float (in the best possible way).

Quo Beauty Gemstone Festival Headband – $20 – sparkly, colourful, and extra in the best way. It’s giving main character energy. (I may or may not be wearing mine to do laundry right now.)

Quo Beauty Lip Oil – $10 – nourish those lips with four juicy flavours: Mango, Tutti Frutti, Island Punch and Strawberry. Tastes like a tropical vacation. Looks like high-gloss heaven.

Quo Beauty Flash Dry Nail Colour – $12.49 – in 8 shades of mood-lifting magic: Sizzlin’, Afterglow, Mimosa, Banana Split, Mojito, Electric, Taro and Standout – two coats, fast dry, zero drama.

Even better? Shoppers Drug Mart is donating 10% of Quo Beauty Pride Collection sales (up to $30,000) to Pflag Canada, supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and their families through peer support and advocacy.

Peace Out
Pride Limited Edition Salicylic Acid Acne Healing Dots
– 16 healing dots – $26 – it’s your favourite pimple patch -but now in colour! These limited-edition healing dots are decked out in Progress Pride flag colours and packed with skin-saving goodness like salicylic acid, retinol, and aloe vera. Combined with patented clean hydrocolloid polymer technology,
impurities are extracted and a barrier is created to help guard against
external elements. Get clearer-looking skin overnight. Bye blemishes, hello radiant skin.

And it’s not just skin-deep: Peace Out, an LGBTQ-founded and run brand, is donating $25,000 to The Trevor Project, supporting LGBTQ+ youth with life-saving crisis intervention and suicide prevention services.

Available at Sephora stores across Canada and online at sephora.ca.

HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA
Color Fuse Longwear Hydrating Glassy Lip + Cheek Blush Balm Stick
– $47 – Mother Monster delivers once again! In 12 shades with a high shine finish: Glassy Ginger – dusty pink, Glassy Cayenne – deep rose, Glassy Cinnamon – beige pink, Glassy Cove – brownish red, Glassy Hibiscus – deep mauve, Glassy Rosette – rose, Glassy Pomelo – peach pink, Glassy Pitaya – cool pink (my fave), Glassy Lilac – lavender, Glassy Watermelon – ruby, Glassy Tangelo – orange, Glassy Acai – black cherry – your new best friend for juicy,
dewy, glassy colour that lasts all day. Packed with skincare superheroes like fermented arnica, goji berry
complex, and fermented shiunko, it plumps, soothes, and brings that
born-this-way glow.

For every HAUS LABS item sold during Pride, Sephora is donating $1 to the Born This Way Foundation, supporting mental health and wellness initiatives for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.

Available at Sephora stores across Canada and online at sephora.ca.

However you show up this month (and every month), these brands are making it easy to do it with style, heart and rainbow energy to spare.

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride!

INTERIOR INSPIRATION. | Barely There Beauty

by Lina Clémence July 7, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

wide nightstands – we’re in search for a nice wide set of bedside tables that also serve as drawers for extra storage. I’m really hoping I can find something like this gorgeous example from across the pond.

fluted side tables – I’ve seen a few of this sort of design online, often by expensive, Scandinavian designers – a hoorah for a highstreet alternative!

ceiling light fixture – an interesting take on a ceiling pendant.

linen bed frame – a large headboard to add presence amidst high ceilings.

fluted vase – this comes in an opaque white or transparent glass, it’s hard to choose which I prefer.

upholstered bench – we were looking into a small clothing rail to keep pjs and cushions off the floor but I rather like the idea of an end-of-bed ottoman.

rattan storage baskets – I loveee these with their leather handles. Perfect for storage in any room.

tureen – when do you seen tureens anymore? But I love it. I have a small collection from A de V and each piece is a delight.

rattan chair – I think the dark wood works so beautifully with the pale rattan.

dining chairs – I would usually express a strong dislike towards mid
century modern but having seen these chairs in person, they’re
comfortable, lightweight and seem to meld seamlessly into an interior.

rattan tray – I’ve seen plenty a rattan tray about but particularly love the circular details woven into this one.

glasses – these crystal glasses are hand cut in Slovenia and I love the intricate design.

pepper mill – I’ve always wanted a brass pepper mill! I think it’s finally time.

gilded mirror – I’m perpetually torn between mirror styles I prefer. I saw this one with it’s simple curved, but not quite arched, top and fell in love.

xx

[Unboxing] Spring FabFitFun – Asian Beauty Obsessed

by Lina Clémence July 7, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Very cute box for Spring!

I was very excited to see what they had for the Spring box – the Winter box I just purchased because I wanted the bluetooth shower speaker that bad, lol. This one I decided to go ahead and just keep trying.

Cardigan

The cardigan is very soft and seems well-knit – it looks great layered over my clothes. It’s a loose fit but it still looks great! I’ve been liking it enough.

A body wash sponge

I’m not sure why this says “multiuse”? But it’s a pretty good all-in-one product, it’s just heavily scented, so if you don’t like scents you might not want this. To be honest it’s cute but it’s only useful if you care about having a two-in-one product… I like to switch up my body washes sometimes so it’s not something I’ll be buying again? Probably?

Cute longer necklace

I NEVER wear necklaces because I’m weird about it and I hate how necklaces hang when you bend over and get in the way of things. BUT I was willing to give this one a chance – I’ll admit, I’ve only worn it once since I bought it but to be fair it’s only because the lock-down situation with COVID has prevented me from happening on occasions to dress up and leave my house except for groceries. After all this becomes semi-normal and I actually have work meetings again, I’ll definitely be wearing this with my business casual outfits. It’s cute! I actually like it. (And I’m surprised by how much this costs??)

Scented hand cream

I actually like this one – it’s moisturizing but not too thick, absorbs quickly and it’s a very subtle scent – I was expecting some heavy scent here because it’s advertised as some relaxing lotion. I was pleasantly surprised!

Tinted chapstick

I absolutely LOVED this thing!! I’ve seen Winky Lux products in stores before (before the lock-down, anyway) and I was always hesitant to buy them because the packaging reminded me of the stuff I would buy when I was a pre-teen and I just wasn’t sure how good it would be. I guess I should’ve looked up reviews, because this stuff is SO hydrating for my lips – it’s actually better than my favorite DHC chapstick from Japan. What!! Except it does have a tint to it so I don’t put it on before bed. For those who like a very hydrating/moisturizing lip product that gives a hint of color that makes your lips look naturally pretty – this is it! I would 100% buy this again.

Kitchen towels

These tea towels – I’ll be honest here. I would never have bought these. Not in a million years. But the minute I pulled these out of the box, while I showed signs of disappointment, my husband grabbed these and said how much he loved them. I was taken by surprise, but he says these are great and he rinses and dries them after each use with our espresso machine – so hey, there’s a use for them after all! I never would have known what to do with them. There you go!

Packing set

These I have not even touched – again, lock-down over here – so I will have to give my opinion on these later with an update. They’re cute I guess, and you can see the contents it seems because part of it is see-through. Three different sizes… made in China… not much else to say here!

Setting Spray

So this is the stuff of legends, here. I heard about this back when I was right in the thick of my makeup-reviewing groove sometime last year or the year before (I lost track) – and this stuff was raved about by one of my favorite YouTubers and I was pretty excited to pull THIS out of the box! Awesome stuff, as advertised, it did make my makeup last longer but to be honest it could have a finer spray. It’s not as bad as the ELF sprayer but I’ve had finer misters as well.

Gift card with purchase requirement

This is useless. Comes with each box, I recycle it each time. It’s only useful if you actually want to buy the subscription in the first place because if you read the fine print they only give you a discount on each month for the first several months or whatever – none of them are actually free anyway. Meh!

Byte promotion

Also some random Byte lippie promotional stuff, I also recycled it. Meh!

Spring magazine

This is the guide to all the products in the box – it’s okay, it’s nice to flip through but to be honest they should just have an app and upload the info to it to save paper. You only really look at it once, right?

It’s a nice subscription but they could definitely improve it. I’ll keep it for now and see what happens next time! It’s still not a bad deal considering what was in it for Winter and Spring. Let’s see if I still like the Summer package!

Y. Beauty’s Rut! (Help me!) – Y. Beauty

by Lina Clémence July 4, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Hello my beauties!

I know, I know… it’s been awhile. Instead of giving some lame excuse about being extremely busy (which I have been), I want to be honest and admit that I have been in such a beauty rut! Any spare moment I have had to write a new post, I honestly couldn’t think of anything that truly felt worth writing about.

When I started this blog, my plan was never to have a blog just for the sake of having a blog. My mission objective was always to be completely honest and share with all of you what products and/or treatments I am truly loving. If I haven’t mentioned a product yet, it doesn’t necessarily mean I haven’t tried it. I will only write about things that worked for me or for my clients. With that said, there are times (which I am sure many of you have endured yourself) where my beauty routine just seems, “meh.” This just happens to be one of those times.

For weeks, I tried switching up products and testing new looks just to get some inspiration. Although it was fun, I still found that I had nothing worth writing about. Nothing stood out to me.

BUT THEN…. it hit me!

[Side Note: For some reason, most of my blog post ideas seem to come to me when I am in the shower!?]

I realized that instead of racking my brain to try and come up with inspiration and ideas, what I should be doing is racking all of YOUR brains! So, I am enlisting all of your help. I have come up with a list of products and treatments that I am on the hunt for and I want you all to give me your advice. Have you tried a waterline eyeliner that doesn’t move throughout the day? Please, tell me about it! Or is there a treatment that you recently had done (i.e. facial) and your results were amazing – I beg you, tell me about it!

This post will be a 2-part series. This week, I want you all to give me your product recommendations, advice, opinions, pretty much anything beauty-related that you are loving. Next week, I will share all of the answers I get and perhaps I will pick-up some suggested goodies between now and then to try out for myself.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it…

  1. Black waterline eyeliner that stays put all day!
  2. Perfume (I have my staples, but I am always looking for a new scent)
  3. Cleanser
  4. Moisturizer (I have sensitive, combination skin)
  5. Eye cream
  6. Lip chap
  7. Lipsticks, lip glosses, etc.
  8. Cuticle cream/care (my cuticles always seem to be dry no matter how much I moisturize my hands!)
  9. Treatments/Services: Facials, massages, masks, body scrubs, etc.
  10. Concealer (I love finding good quality concealers that work!)
  11. Foundation
  12. Beauty tools – makeup brushes, beauty sponges, hair accessories, etc.
  13. Anti-aging products
  14. Dark spot corrector
  15. Curly hair products
  16. Brush cleaners
  17. Eyeshadow palettes

Do you have any other beauty tips or finds? I want to hear about it! Either let me know in the comment section below or email me at yasminpabdo@gmail.com with your answers.

I can’t wait to hear from you!

That’s Y!

New Prada Beauty Launches – The Beauty Look Book

by Lina Clémence July 3, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

I have a roundup review of some new Prada Beauty launches. They just launched a new Light Glowing Lip Oil Stick ($50 each) and Light Glowing Highlighter Powder ($90 each). I also have some quick swatches of the Dimensions Multi-Effect Eyeshadow Palettes ($85 each) I’ve tested in today’s post. All the items are refillable. I picked mine up from Nordstrom but you can also find the launches at Sephora and Prada Beauty.

Light Glowing Lip Oil Stick

New Prada Lip Oil Stick Review

There are four shades of the Prada Light Glowing Lip Oil Stick available in the US (I think other countries might have a few more shades). I picked up the tinted ones and love the formula. They’re smooth, comfortable, hydrating and feel ultra luxurious on the lips. The pigment is very sheer though and gives the lips a barely there tint. You can definitely bring out the color with a coordinating lip pencil, but on their own they are so sheer, I don’t know that the lack of pigment justifies the steep price tag. The formula is also very soft. While I didn’t experience any breakage due to the softness, they have shifted from the base a little after application so there are dents on the sides of the lip balm from the packaging.

  • U016 is a light pink
  • U018 is also a light pink, but slightly deeper
  • U019 is a soft brown

New Prada Lip Oil Stick Review swatches

I am happy with the splurges although given my darker lip tone I would have skipped U016 if I had known how sheer it would be on my lips. If you prefer something with more pigment the Hydrating Lip Balm has better color payoff (I really like the Shade Guava). Or I would recommend opting for any of the YSL tinted balms like the Candy Glow or Candy Glaze (also still spendy but not quite as expensive).

Since these are balmy oils and sheer the lasting power isn’t going to be long with these but they are easy to reapply without a mirror.

Light Glowing Highlighter Powder

Prada Light Glowing Highlighter Powder

I did a poll on whether or not you were interested in the new Light Glowing Highlighter Powders and most of you were turned off by the steep price tag. I do think the price is outrageous but I was really impressed with these highlighters. The colors are just SO beautiful with the perfect amount of glow. I love all three and think the texture and pigment is SO stunning, I nearly forgot about the sticker shock after swatching these.

Prada Light Glowing Highlighter Powder swatches

1 Champagne is a light cool champagne on my golden olive skin, if you have light or fair skin tones I think this won’t look as pink on you as it does my skin

Prada Light Glowing Highlighter Powder 1 Champagne

_________

2 Pink is a stunning soft cool pink

Prada Light Glowing Highlighter Powder 2 Pink

_________

3 Deep is a soft bronzed shimmer, it’s a skin but better tone on me

I am still struggling with some texture and dry patches on my face so it did emphasize my texture a little bit, but with a lighter hand and good blending I really love how they look on the skin. Are they worth $90? I don’t think so, but I am still very happy with the splurge. Below wearing the following lip and cheek combos, also wearing:

Light Glowing Highlighter Shade 1 Champagne and Glowing Lip Oil Stick 016 Rose, quick note, I applied the highlighter with a heavier hand to show the color, but for normal makeup wear I would combine this with a regular blush or bronzer and apply the highlighter just as a softer highlight

Prada Light Glowing Highlighter Shade 1 Champagne and Glowing Lip Oil Stick 016 Rose

_________

Light Glowing Highlighter Shade 2 Pink and Glowing Lip Oil Stick 018 Pink

Prada Light Glowing Highlighter Shade 2 Pink and Glowing Lip Oil Stick 018 Pink

Light Glowing Highlighter Shade 3 Deep and Glowing Lip Oil Stick 019 Brown

Dimensions Multi-Effect Eyeshadow Palettes

Prada Dimensions Multi-Effect Eyeshadow Palettes

Last we have a look at the Prada Dimensions Multi-Effect Eyeshadow Palettes. These are super finely milled palettes with an ultra smooth texture. They remind me of the eyeshadows from Surratt and Cle de Peau with the soft powdery almost creamy texture. I think the color combinations are SO beautiful but I have very dry eyelids so this kind of texture tends to look dry on my eyes if I pack the color on. Each palette has a good mix of finishes. I think the tones are beautiful and well thought out.

I had such high hopes for Peony but the colors match my skin tone so closely I cannot see any color payoff on my eyes. Pansy shows up better but still gives a very natural eye look. Primula has the best color payoff. I really wanted to love at least one of these for an everyday look but in the time I’ve had them I haven’t reached for very much.

Based on the feedback I’ve received from most of you it appears I’m in the minority with my eyelid area being dry, so if your eyelids are normal or oily I think these should wear very well on you.

  • 06 Pulp has a rosewood matte, shimmery champagne, satiny yellow beige and sheer reddish pink matte
  • 07 Peony has the most beautiful mix of soft neutrals, I really wish these showed up on my skin tone
  • 08 Pansy has a dusty rose pink, soft satin tan, light warm pink, shimmery champagne with a duochrome shift
  • 09 Primula has a dusty caramel tan, deep brown, brick brown and brown with green shift

Prada Dimensions Multi-Effect Eyeshadow Palettes

New Prada Light Glowing Highlighting Powder and Lip Oil Stick Review

Overall really love the highlighters, lip oil sticks are really pretty but so sheer I don’t know how I feel about the splurge. Eyeshadows aren’t bad, but the formula and colors aren’t something I am super in love with.

Available at Nordstrom, Sephora and Prada Beauty.

Rainbowdorable by Auzola | Indonesian Beauty Blogger: (Bahasa Indonesia) Review YOU Amino Low pH Cleansing Mousse, Facial Wash Gentle Cocok untuk Kulit Sensitif!

by Lina Clémence July 2, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Hey pretty babe!

Back to basic, kali ini aku mau share facial wash yang lagi aku gunakan, yaitu YOU Amino Low pH Cleansing Mousse! Bagus ngga sih? Yuk baca dulu reviewnya buat kalian yang lagi nyari pembersih muka!

Blog Label: yellow label

Brand : YOU

Nama : Amino Low pH Cleansing Mousse

Isi: 150ml

Harga : sekitar IDR 115k

KEMASAN & KEGUNAAN

      Kemasannya sendiri seperti ini:

review you amino low ph cleansing mousse
you cleansing mousse

Ingredients:

Water, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Glycerin, Lauryl Hydroxysultaine, Decyl Glucoside, Ethoxydiglycol, Sodium Chloride, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Citric Acid, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Cocoate, Coconut Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydroxyacetophenone, Jojoba Wax PEG-120 Esters, Sodium Citrate, Butylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Dihydroxypropyl Ariginine HCl, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Oil, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Hyrogenated Lecithin, Ceramide NP, Glycine, Ceramide NS/Ceramide NG, Ceramide AS, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP

Cara pakai:

tekstur you amino low ph cleansing mousse

foam cleanser you amino low ph

hasil penggunaan you amino low ph cleansing mouse

Hasilnya setelah bilas bener-bener ngga ada rasa gak nyaman. Kulit rasanya lembut, segar, dan gak ada rasa ketariknya, lebih cerah juga a little (mungkin karena bersih jadi ada efek cerah). Aku suka deh sama facial wash yang ngga bikin ketarik gini, karena ngga bikin kulitku jadi berasa kering. Setelah cuci muka wajah langsung berasa cukup lembab, sampai aku cobain ngga pakai moisturizer pun kulit tetap berasa cukup aman, alias ngga kering (tapi baiknya tetap pakai moisturizer ya guyyyss, aku cuma trial tanpa tambahan skincare biar reviewnya makin detail aja hehe).

So far i really like it!

REVIEW KESELURUHAN

Sejauh ini aku suka banget! Lembut banget rasanya dikulit ku dan sangat-sangat mengurangi iritasi kalau kulit lagi break out. Nyaman banget dikulit!

Pro:

+ foam lembut di kulit

+ walaupun tanpa fragrance tapi wangi natural citrus segar gitu

+ lembut banget rasanya dikulit

+ tidak mengiritasi kulitku

+ aman digunakan saat kulitku lagi break out

Cons:

– belum ada yang mengganggu sih so far

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

—

I really like this product! Like dari first impressionnya aku juga udah suka banget. Rasanya nyaman banget kulit setiap bilas pakai facial wash ini. Plus dia melembabkan juga, i guess cocok buat semua kulit. For more info kalian bisa cek langsung ke social medianya YOU.

Sekarang jadi kepo deh sama skincare YOU yang lainnya hehe. Nanti kapan-kapan kalau aku cobain produk skincare lainnya, bakalan aku share lagi di blog! See you guys for now!

Love,

Auzola

Makeup and Beauty Blog Monday Poll, Vol. 884

by Lina Clémence July 2, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

So…what is the Monday Poll?

Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. Do you have a favorite vegetable?

Yes! Carrots, for sure. The fact that you can turn them into a cake is a big deal! I mean, come on, have you ever heard of a broccoli cake? Or an okra cake? Yeah, I didn’t think so, LOL! I also love that you can put them in salads, roast them or just eat them plain with a variety of different dips.

2. A song that’s been stuck in your head lately?

“Top of the World” by The Carpenters has been on repeat in my car.

3. Something you’ve been avoiding lately?

Social media and the news cycle in general.

4. Lip masks: yes or no?

Yes, but only if we’re talking Laneige.

5. Whatcha reading right now?

“The Mysterious Bakery on Rue de Paris” by Evie Woods. I’m on a magical realism kick!

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. Here are the questions to copy/paste with your answers in a comment. Talk to ya soon.

Multi-Use Products for Easy Summer Beauty |

by Lina Clémence July 2, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Looking for high-impact, low-effort products for your summer beauty routine? Look no further than multi-use products for lip, cheek and more! We’ve rounded up our three faves – each with a different formula – to help you find the perfect double (or triple!) threat for your makeup bag.

During the summer, the last thing I want to do is feel like I’ve got a full face of makeup on. Don’t get me wrong: I still want to play with colour and look put-together; I just don’t want to mess around with 10 different products to achieve the look. It’s just too dang hot to deal with all that! Enter: the multi-use lip & cheek. These formulas have maximum payoff with minimum effort, leaving you more time for summer fun.

Our three faves are:

  • Tower 28’s OneLiner Pencil
  • KJH Brand’s Soft Smudge Lip & Cheek
  • Milk Makeup’s Cooling Water Jelly Tint

Each of these has a different formula but is a multi-hyphenate powerhouse, taking the place of 2-4 products in your kit. Read on to find out more about each one!

Tower 28’s OneLiner Multi-Liner

I have been using this multi-use product daily since it was released, and it has racked up its fair share of celeb fans, too. (Billie Eilish, for starters!) I love that it’s compact, mess-free, requires no brushes for application, and comes in six gorgeous shades.

In addition, Tower 28’s OneLiner ($22 at Sephora) is vegan and fragrance-free, so it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It also has a long-wear formula that isn’t drying, meaning you don’t have to worry about reapplying or unwanted flakiness.

Wearing Tower 28’s OneLiner Multi-Liner in Work of Art

OneLiner has a beautiful glide – no tugging at the eyes! – and blends seamlessly with just your fingers. I also love that I get a good amount of payoff per application without having to sharpen the pencil each time.

If you have oilier skin or are looking for a multi-use product that isn’t cream-based, I highly recommend you check out Tower 28’s OneLiner!

KJH Brand’s Soft Smudge Lip & Cheek

When a world-renowned makeup artist and educator launches their own line, you know it’s going to be good! Katie Jane Hughes is all about empowering people to understand and embrace how makeup works for them. She decided to put her decades of experience in development and artistry towards creating the products she always wished for, and KJH Brand was born!

I’ve raved about their Hyper Shine Light Pigment for years (I got to test it shortly before the launch, which was a dream!), but a hot new bombshell has entered the KJH villa: Soft Smudge Lip & Cheek ($30).

Wearing KJH Brand’s Soft Smudge Lip & Cheek in Soft Berry

This multi-use product has an innovative cream-to-powder formula, meaning it applies easily but has insane long-wear power and doesn’t transfer. Available in five stunning shades, ranging from bright coral to deep raisin, Soft Smudge is buildable, allowing you to go from sheer to bold in just a few swipes. You can apply it with a brush for a more blurred application, or direct from the tube for higher impact.

And –  as with all KJH Brand products – Soft Smudge is designed to play well with others. Add a drop of KJH’s Hyper Shine Serum and the formula becomes opaque and glossy. Mix in some of the Hyper Shine Lite Pigment and you’ve got a sumptuous glow. The applications are endless! (Which is kind of the whole point.)

Milk Makeup’s Cooling Water Jelly Tint

This groundbreaking multi-use product shook the beauty world upon its launch, and though it has since been imitated, its innovation has never been replicated. Milk Makeup’s Cooling Water Jelly Tint ($36 at Sephora) is truly one of the coolest (ha!) products I have ever encountered, and I use it daily. It has mad payoff (seriously; a little goes a long way) and feels incredible on the skin, providing long-lasting, juicy colour with basically no effort.

Available in six gorgeous shades plus one pH-adaptive tint, there is truly a Cooling Water Jelly Tint for every mood. (I have three different colours and will probably buy the full range eventually!) The jelly formula encapsulates the pigment to keep it moist, giving the product a longer shelf life than most stains and maintaining the high-impact colour.

This lip & cheek tint also contains vegan collagen, aloe, and seawater to soothe, plump, and hydrate the skin. The whole “cooling” aspect isn’t just marketing – this multi-use product feels genuinely refreshing on your skin! Exactly what you need during the muggy summer months.

Multi-Love for Multi-Use Products!

The benefits of a multi-use product reach beyond ease of use. Financially, you’re saving money by purchasing one item instead of a few different ones. Ecologically, you’re creating less waste. And, for us condo dwellers, saving space in one’s makeup drawer is a game-changer. Each of these is reason enough to explore using products that work double- or triple-duty, but when the products themselves are this good, it’s an absolute no-brainer!

Whether you’re looking for a multi-use product to reduce your consumption, to save money, time, or space, or simply because you love the products, I hope this has helped you decide which multi-use product might be right for you.

Which multi-use product is your summer must-have?
