Ethical Rings – The Green Edition

by Lina Clémence July 26, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Ethical rings are crafted with conscious sourcing, sustainable practices, and fair labour standards in mind. Read on to learn more about ethical rings and where to buy them.

What Are Ethical Rings?

Ethical rings are made from recycled or responsibly sourced materials, with fair wages and respect for workers’ rights. The people who mine the metals and gemstones should be given a living wage, healthcare, adequate access to toilets, minimum and maximum hours to work, etc. This applies to the people who make the jewellery, too, and to anyone else involved in the process.

Sustainable JewelleryThe gem ring I’m wearing in the images is from Caroline Hjerpe. All its jewellery is designed and handmade in Sweden. The rings are unique colours and shapes, and because they use selected small family-run gemstone cutters, it’s possible to know the origin of every gemstone. Caroline Hjerpe uses recycled gold and silver. I’m wearing a peach sapphire surrounded by gold. I’m trying to figure out which colour to buy next. Caroline Hjerpe also sells secondhand versions of their rings; they work out a little cheaper and are even more eco-friendly.

What is an ethical alternative to diamond rings?

Lab-grown diamonds are more ethical than mined diamonds. They have the same composition but are obviously grown in a lab. Many jewellers offer them as an alternative nowadays and usually advertise they are doing so. Buying conflict-free diamonds is possible; check the jeweller’s certification to ensure they are conflict-free. It’s also good to know where they were mined; many countries have better worker rights for miners. Another alternative is to buy a different gemstone; moissanite is a close alternative to diamonds and is man-made in a lab, although the energy used to produce man-made gems can be high. Vintage and secondhand diamonds are also an option.

Eco ringsAre luxury brands sustainable?

Luxury brands are often not sustainable when it comes to jewellery. They are often more focused on profit than other brands, especially if listed on the Stock Market. Check each brand carefully before buying from them. The website usually indicates if they are interested in sustainability. If this is the case, they will have certifications and reports. Many brands I checked had certifications for conflict-free diamonds and other stones but not so much for metals, i.e. gold, silver, and platinum.

Is there such a thing as ethical mining?

Mines can operate ethically by paying the workers appropriately and ensuring workers’ rights are met. They must also ensure the land is treated appropriately to produce less pollution during production and after the mine is closed. Over-mining can also be an issue, causing excess damage to the land and surrounding environment. The mines provide employment to many people, often in poorer areas.

It can be difficult to know about each mine when buying jewellery, so it’s essential to be able to trust the jeweller. Ask them questions if you don’t see enough information on their website or in-store. Artisanal mining is less land-invasive and a more sustainable option.

Ethical ringsHere are a few simple tips for buying an ethical ring

The first thing to do is research brands; I’ve listed some below. Support jewellers committed to ethical practices, such as fair labour conditions and sustainability. Look for certified materials and choose rings with conflict-free diamonds or lab-grown alternatives. Seek ethical sources with transparent supply chains and ask the brand where the ring is from. For example, The Responsible Jewellery Council audits its members to ensure responsible sourcing.

Opt for recycled metals, for example, rings crafted from recycled gold, silver, or platinum, which will reduce environmental impact. Custom or vintage rings can offer eco-friendly alternatives by reducing demand for new mining. Always ask for transparency on sourcing and production methods.

ethical ringsWhere to buy ethical rings

This handmade ring is fully recycled and made in London in the Loveness Lee workshop. It’s solid gold and hallmarked at the Assay Office in London. It’s the perfect stacking ring, simple but with a beautiful texture. This spiral ring from Rachel Entwistle is more of a statement piece made with recycled silver and gold vermeil. It would look lovely on its own with a minimalist outfit.

This lab grown diamond and 18K recycled gold cluster ring from Mathilde is beautiful. I also love their diamond stud collection, all made with lab grown diamonds. I love a stacking ring, especially this recycled sterling silver one from Wild Fawn. Wild Fawn make it’s pieces in London, I’m wearing one of their necklaces in this post.

Ethical ringsThe emerald-cut green moissanite and lab-grown diamond ring from Ethica Diamonds is a beauty. I like the fact that it’s called ‘The Evelyn Ring.’ It’s an Art Deco design made with recycled gold. For a guaranteed conflict-free salt and pepper diamond, try this ring from Lebrusan Studio. The diamond was mined in Canada and is probably prettier than a brilliant diamond. The band is made from recycled gold, and I love the design of it. The ring was made as part of the “Created in the UK” initiative.

Ethical JewelleryVintage Rings

Some of the best rings on the market are vintage. However, knowing where the stones and metals were mined is difficult unless they still have certification. The designs can often be different from the new rings on sale nowadays. This vintage sapphire, diamond and gold ring is so beautiful. It’s from Rock n Rose, which has a lovely vintage jewellery collection.

This is a Victorian style diamond daisy ring with a yellow gold band from Philip Lloyd. They have a few similar rings if you like this style as well as lots of other vintage styles. Vintage rings can be unusual too, like this shamrock ring with three different coloured pearls and diamonds and a golden band.

Sustainable Christmas Decorations – The Green Edition

by Lina Clémence July 3, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Christmas time means Christmas decorations, and nowadays, we want them to be sustainable. Read more for tips on finding the best sustainable Christmas decorations!

How to decorate sustainably for Christmas

Buying lots of plastic decorations is wasteful, especially since they’re only used for a few weeks each year. If you remember just one thing, focus on natural decor elements instead. This doesn’t mean fewer options—once you start exploring more natural alternatives, plastic decorations start to look cheap and tacky, even though they’re often expensive.

How to decorate with natural elements for Christmas

Using branches, twigs, pinecones, and berries from your garden is a great place to start. They make beautiful garlands for the fireplace or can be arranged in vases for winter decor. If foraging isn’t your style, florists often sell pre-made arrangements. Adding oranges, pomegranates, nuts or even biscuits to displays looks inviting and smells amazing. For more inspiration, check out this post from Milli Proust.

Christmas markets usually feature stalls with wreaths, which can be used to decorate a door or table. Bloom & Wild offers a lovely selection of Christmas wreaths and floral arrangements. A poinsettia is another sustainable way to bring cheer—check where it’s grown, as it’s often locally sourced. Other bits found in the garden or the local park are pinecones, acorns and small twiggy bits. Arrange them in a bowl or scatter them over a table for an easy festive look. Oranges, arranged in a bowl or cut into slices and dried in the oven, are a great sustainable alternative to plastic baubles.

An orange garland

To make an orange slice garland, slice oranges and stud with cloves, drying in the oven. Once dried, thread a thin piece of twine or string through the center of each slice. To add extra texture and fragrance, attach small cinnamon sticks between the orange slices by tying them with the same string. You can also add dried star anise or pine cones for more variety. The garland can be draped over the fireplace, hung around the tree, or placed on the wall. The garland will last for years if placed in a cool, dry box for the rest of the year.

These baubles are cinnamon, orange slices, pinecones, and acorns, which would look lovely on the tree. They would be pretty easy to make at home, too. Snowflakes are another idea to make at home. This Martha Stewart guide helps with the perfect snowflake. You can also buy them already perfectly shaped from Etsy.

The tree in the image is an olive tree from the garden I took inside and decorated as a Christmas tree. It looked as festive as a traditional tree. Another sustainable option is buying or renting a potted tree with the roots attached. It can be replanted if it’s not left inside too long—they prefer the outdoors after a while! If you choose an artificial tree, using the same one each year is far less wasteful than buying a new one.

Gingerbread

Making a gingerbread house is a fun way to add festive cheer to the home. Gingerbread house-making kits are available in most supermarkets now, but it is easy to do it without the kit. This post explains it step by step: make a gingerbread mix, roll it out flat, cut it into squares and bake. After the gingerbread pieces are cooled down, stick them together with icing before decorating.

Traditional gingerbread cookies are also a sustainable way to decorate for Christmas and make the house smell lovely. Store them in an old Christmas tin from last year or these festive ones from Søstrene Grene. Other food bits such as Christmas cake, nuts, dried berries, pomegranates, tangerines, and rosehips look great as decor.

Candles

Lighting a candle in the evenings is one of the best things about Christmas. Advent candles are lovely; light them every day in December in the run up to Christmas. Ethical candles with fragrances of clove, cinnamon and pine are especially festive. For more sustainable candles, check out Organic Candles – Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Beeswax, Soy and Rapeseed.

Where to buy sustainable Christmas decorations

Another sustainable way to decorate for Christmas is to buy just one new decoration each year. Over time, you’ll build a core collection, and adding only one item annually can keep things fresh while avoiding impulse purchases.

The felted wreath is from Green Tulip. It is produced in Nepal using wool, water, and organic dyes. Toast has many sustainable Christmas decorations, including the handblown green, brown, and clear glass baubles in the images. Hanging paper stars and snowflakes look lovely at Christmas, especially made with FSC-certified paper. They can be reused for years and eventually biodegrade after they are no longer needed. This hanging star would look lovely as part of a display.

Although they are not decorations, these cute cutout little angel faces can be added to cards or decor. Christmas photo props are my new favourite thing. They are fun when the guests come over and look great on the coffee table.

More sustainable decorations

I honestly can’t decide if I like this. It’s a popup Christmas tree made from cork and recycled plastic found on the beach, which is a brilliant plan in theory! Ferm Living have beautiful decorations; I especially like these rattan braided bell baubles. They also have advent candles and lovely Christmas homeware. The Danes have a super sustainable selection of beautiful Christmas decorations. The bright red honeycomb tissue decoration is a showpiece. It’s made to order by a family company that sources its materials from independent companies. This honeycomb garland reminds me of Christmas decorations from the ’80s. The garland is handmade, fairtrade, and made in Nepal. For more honeycomb decorations, try the V&A. The suffragette hanging decoration is handcrafted in Thailand and India.

25 Things You Could Be Doing Instead Of Shopping – Winter Edition

What’s the most sustainable Christmas tree option?

The most sustainable tree is one you already have in the garden. Keep it in a pot all year and take it inside to decorate in December before putting it back into the garden in January. Another option is to buy a potted Christmas tree with the roots still attached and replant it again in January. It’s also possible to rent a tree, so someone else can replant it. If you choose an artificial tree, reusing it yearly is the best way to reduce waste.

The Ultimate Guide to Styling Leggings for Fall & Winter: Plus-Size Edition

by Lina Clémence July 3, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Leggings are a wardrobe staple that never go out of style—especially during the cooler months! As plus-size women, we know that comfort and style go hand in hand, and leggings provide the perfect balance of both. Whether you’re running errands, heading to brunch, or dressing up for a cozy night out, the right pair of leggings can be styled in countless ways. In this post, I’m sharing my favorite ways to wear leggings for fall and winter, using the same pair to create multiple chic and seasonally appropriate looks.

Shop My Favorite Leggings Below:

Why Leggings Are a Must-Have for Fall & Winter

  • Comfort & Stretch: Leggings offer a flexible fit that moves with you, making them ideal for all-day wear.
  • Layering Essential: They pair effortlessly with oversized sweaters, tunics, and coats.
  • Versatile & Chic: With the right styling, leggings can go from casual to sophisticated in no time.
  • Cold-Weather Approved: Fleece-lined and thermal leggings add warmth without sacrificing style.

1. Chic & Sleek: Blazer + Statement Accessories

For a more polished approach, throw on a structured blazer over a fitted turtleneck or bodysuit. This instantly transforms leggings from casual to chic. Complete the look with pointed-toe booties or sleek heels for a put-together ensemble perfect for dinner or a work-friendly outfit.

Style Tip: Opt for a bold-colored blazer or printed accessories to add personality to your look.

2. Elevated Edge: Leather + Boots

Give your leggings an edgy twist by pairing them with a sleek leather element and boots. This look is perfect for a casual night out or a concert. You can also swap the combat boots for heeled booties to make it more refined.

Style Tip: Add a statement belt or chain belt around your waist for extra flair.

3. Layered & Luxe: vest + Turtleneck

A printed vest instantly makes leggings feel luxurious. Layer it over a fitted turtleneck or a sweater dress for an effortlessly chic cold-weather outfit. Finish with knee-high boots or heeled booties for a sophisticated, cozy vibe.

Style Tip: Monochrome outfits (all-black, all-neutral, or tonal layering) can make your look feel more expensive and streamlined.

4. Sporty & On-the-Go: baseball cap + Sneakers

When comfort is key but you still want to look stylish, go for a baseball cap and leggings combo. An oversized blazer adds dimension, while trendy sneakers keep it fresh and functional.

Style Tip: Layer with a beanie and oversized sunglasses for a cool, athleisure-inspired aesthetic.

5. elevated casual: Moto jacket + chic boots

For a sophisticated approach, opt for a great layering top over your leggings, along with a stylish moto jacket. Pair with statement heeled boots  for a look that’s equal parts comfortable and glamorous.

Style Tip: Play with textures—think sequins, velvet, or faux fur—to bring a festive touch to your outfit.

6. going out Ready: sleek heels + sexy bodysuit

You can never go wrong with a monochromatic black look! This one gives sleek and sexy, so that you’re ready to get into whatever the night may bring. For cooler weather, you can easily add a trench coat or a faux fur jacket for added luxe.

Leggings are the ultimate fall and winter essential for plus-size women, offering endless styling possibilities. Whether you’re keeping it casual, dressing up for a night out, or layering for warmth, the key is to balance proportions and play with different textures and accessories.

Which of these looks is your favorite? Let me know in the comments, and be sure to follow along for more plus-size fashion inspiration!

Summer edition Wishtrend review | Stay Pretty and be Happy

by Lina Clémence July 1, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Hi all,

Hope you are all enjoying the summertime right now!

Let me share some products I was able to try and test these past few months which I received from Wishtrend!

Are you curious?

So as usual, Wishtrend is super generous with their longtime Wishtrenders and I was able to receive 5 products for review.

So let’s start the reviews!

Dear Klairs Daily comfort hand sanitizer gel

This product came out after Covid so it makes sense why Klairs released this type of product.

It might seem odd since they are more a  skincare oriented brand, but they did expand in offering body care and I’m glad they did.

24-07-28-17-47-08-145_deco

I like that this comes in a pump bottle so it’s easy and hygienic to use.

I left this close to the entrance so I use it when I come home, or each time I feel the need to clean my hands a bit.

During Covid, it became a habit for people to use hand sanitizer. Some were horrible and left this sticky feeling or just smelled so strong that it made me sneeze.

Luckily this hand sanitizer is one of the good ones!

24-07-28-17-47-55-390_deco

It’s unscented and doesn’t have that strong alcohol scent to it.

The texture is like jelly and watery at the same time, it’s easy to spread on your hands to cleansd them. The best part is that there is no sticky finish at the end and it leaves your hands so soft to the touch.

I sometimes skip my hand cream and just use this when I want my hands to be soft!

Even if Covid is over, knocks on wood, it is still important to keep your hands clean!

This is a great hand sanitizer if you are looking for one!

Dear Klairs Daily Comfort Hand Cream

So this one came out around the same time as the hand sanitizer.

It’s a really nice complementary product to use after the hand sanitizer!

24-07-28-17-45-15-893_deco

This comes in the same type of pump bottle but this one is darker so you can differentiate the products.

This hand cream feels quite thick and rich but once you start applying it, it’s not greasy and just like the hand sanitizer it’s not sticky after.

24-07-28-17-46-29-393_deco

This is a big bottle and honestly I just skip this since the hand sanitizer is really nice on the hands .

I can’t carry this around, but there is a smaller format of this hand cream which is good.

This is unscented so it’s great for anyone just looking for a basic hand cream with a non greasy and sticky finish.

This is also a good product, but I just really like their hand sanitizer more.

Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Charging Serum

This was Klairs answer to provide a more stable Vitamin C based serum.

24-07-28-17-39-56-598_deco

As per the bottle this is a vitamin c derivative serum so this is more stable than a vitamin c serum only.

This comes in a pump bottle and the bottle is completely opaque to protect the product.

The product itself feels a bit oily but it doesn’t feel oily once you start applying it.

24-07-28-17-41-09-495_deco

It glides easily on the skin so it’s easy to use. I am still a bit weary of using vitamin c product so I didn’t use this regularly and mostly used it at night.

But when I used this , thankfully my skin did not react badly. There was no warm/ burning feeling.

My skin did not seem to be more sensitive after using this.

This should help in getting brighter skin, but I didn’t see much change since I didn’t use it too regularly.

By Wishtrend Blue Oasis Aloe Hydrating serum

This is a renewed version of the serum. The packaging is different as it follows the same line as other By Wishtrend serums .

24-07-28-17-42-11-719_deco

Just like the old version this was a nice serum to use to give an extra layer of hydration to your skin.

I think this is still perfect to use during warmer days. It’s not heavy, it feels watery and preps your skin for the next step.

24-07-28-17-44-02-696_deco

I do feel this has a bit more body as it’s less watery than before but it still slides on the skin nicely.

There really isn’t much to say for this product, it just do what it promises just like it’s name.

So if you are looking for a no fuss serum, this could be for you!

By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Milky Foaming Wash

This is another version of their enzyme wash but this is more for people with sensitive skin.

24-07-28-17-37-20-676_deco

This is great to use to for a gentle exfoliation.

If you don’t like using powder enzyme, this is a great alternative as it already comes in a liquid version.

24-07-28-17-39-13-366_deco

A pump to 2 is enough for your whole face. It looks a bit like cream, you then massage it and add water to make it lather.

Your skin will feel nice and soft afterwards. But like any exfoliator, you shouldn’t use it everyday.

This is indeed not drying after use, which is great!

I still do prefer the powder enzyme as I like the feeling of the powder scrubbing on my skin.

This version is more practical though as you don’t have powder flying around, making you sneeze!

Conclusion

This was another great set of products to try. The one I was more surprised and loved to use was the hand sanitizer.

I just love how soft and clean my hands are after using it.

The blue oasis aloe hydrating serum is still nice to use during summer, so it’s still a winner to me!

You can get these products on Wishtrend and use my code  CFA553EA for a discount.

Thank you Wishtrend for this opportunity!

OOTD – On the stair edition 2020

by Lina Clémence June 25, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

I just have the worst luck with Jeans! Actually regardless of what size you are, the perfect pair of jeans are notoriously hard to find. These tapered Boyfriend jeans i wanted to try, as my usual go to of the ASOS Ridley jeans was the only style i had purchased.

Ordered 2 sizes 24 & 26- 24 was a no, so 26 seemed ok- with a lil room to spare, a few days later after washing, the room to spare some how became too much. I couldnt figure out, was i bloated or did the jeans loosen in the wash? Either way i was in too deep with these to be able to return them.

For now my solution has been to pull one side of the front over the other, essentially wrapping over the button area to clinch the waist in and securing with a safety pin. Not convenient but the guilt of spending almost $90.00 on something that would just be tossed away is like flushing money down the toilet – I need to make these work!

If possible- and if it doesn’t cost the earth, i could take these to get altered, possibly get the waist and legs brought in & if theres any solution for that gap above the butt -where the jeans dont close against your back.
You know where you could look down and see my undies in a standing position, that massive platform like gap,
am i the only one?

ok, first world problems, ill let this be

May Favorites: Hair, Skin + Body Edition

by Lina Clémence June 8, 2025
written by Lina Clémence

Rounding up my favorites from May today. I usually focus on makeup favorites but so many of you have asked for more skincare and haircare loves so today’s post is all about hair, body and skin.

My hair and skin has been going through some changes since around November with an extended dry season this past winter/spring. We also had some big life changes with our recent move and while both Tampa Bay and Miami Beach are both very sunny and hot, Miami is significantly hotter and I think the excess heat has dehydrated my skin.

I’ve been switching things up for skin and hair. Here is what I’ve been loving.

Skincare Loves

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser

My top two cleansers are still the Chanel L’Huile Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil and the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser. I tried several other brands but these are the best for effectively removing sunscreen + makeup without stripping the skin. I also really like the new Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Barrier-Hydrating Cleanser too (just as good as the original but more hydrating). FYI Kiehl’s is offering 25% off for their Friends and Family Sale (Members get 30% off). Andrew also uses both Kiehl’s Cleansers.

Chanel L’Huile Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil and the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser

Out of all the new moisturizers I tried, the InnBeauty Project line at Sephora has been the best for me. The products I tried are richer and more hydrating than I typically use but I really love that they weren’t heavy and they feel so good on the skin. I started with the travel sizes (also love this value trial set here). I ended up travel sizes of the Extreme Cream but purchased full sizes of the Extreme Cream Eye and the Elastic Skin Firming Plumping Serum.

The serum has a really nice light texture and absorbs really well into the skin. I love layering all three together and can happily report they didn’t irritate or clog my pores. 10/10 recommend.

InnBeauty Project Extreme Cream and Eye Cream

I’ve also experienced texture issues and the clogged pores have been mainly due to lack of exfoliation. I had an amazing facial at one of the local skin clinics here in Miami Beach (included hydrafacial, radio frequency, LED treatment and a few other things). They really helped give my skin a kickstart to clear it up. For exfoliation, two things I’ve found to be game changers are from U Beauty and Dr. Dennis Gross.

I started using the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel Pads again and it has been a game changer. I also love the peel pads/resurfacing options from First Aid Beauty and Elemis but I needed something stronger and the ones from Dr. Dennis Gross are perfect. I’m using them 2-3x per week in the evenings. They also have other options in Extra Gentle or Extra Strength and also come in smaller trial sizes in case you’re new to them and are unsure of what kind to try.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel Pads

A number of you recommended the U Beauty Resurfacing Compound and I finally decided to try it – it’s also a gamechanger. I bought a mini set and am 100% going to buy the full size. The Resurfacing Compound is a serum with Vitamin C, Retinol, Multi-Hydroxy Acids, Vitamin E and antioxidants. I have been really impressed with how it’s improving texture. Since I don’t want to overdo the acids (especially with the peel pads) I only use this 2x per week as a serum under moisturizer.

Another shout out for the Bliss Clear Genius Acne Spot Treatment because this is holy grail material. It’s hands down the best acne spot treatment with 2% salicylic acid. I can apply it on spots (and reapply 2-3x throughout the day on bigger pimples) and it helps reduce the inflammation and really target the acne. Andrew swears by this too.

Bliss Clear Genius Acne Spot Treatment

Sun Care Loves

I’ve been trying virtually every new sunscreen formula possible since moving to Miami. The sun is so much stronger here and since we are out everyday with Ollie’s walks we’ve been more diligent with sunscreen.

I still really love the Chanel UV Essentiel because of the texture. It’s not too thick or heavy and wears well under makeup.

For a mineral option I love the one from Caudalie and tinted one from ISDIN. You do have to be more diligent with double cleansing if you use a mineral as they tend to adhere more to the skin.

I’ve been a long-time devotee of the Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector SPF 60 but decided to give the new Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion Mineral version a try. I like it a lot! It has a very slight white cast but when you blend it you can’t really see it. It has a better dry down while the other version is a bit more emollient. I’ve been using the mineral version on my body all month. It does take extra work to remove though. The best combo for mineral body sunscreen removal includes the EcoTools Shower Gloves and Jack Black Turbo Wash.

Body Care

Body Care Staples

My all-time favorite body oil from Chanel is back! I am so thrilled they restocked it. Chanel body oils are quite the splurge but they are packaged in a beautiful glass bottle and are the most luxurious ones on the skin. Love that they now have a little stopper at the top to control how much oil comes out. The Chanel Huile Douce is a lighter body oil and it smells so fresh and clean. I love how it’s not sticky and it makes the skin soft unlike any other oil I’ve tried.

For hand care my favorite cuticle oils are the Chanel L’Huile Camelia and Hermes Nourishing Oil. Both are spendy but I’ve repurchased both and I think they are 100% worth the splurge.

I mentioned a while back having some challenges finding a deodorant that didn’t irritate my skin. I had a major skin flareup from bug spray last year that resulted in hives. It took about 3 months to fully recover. Ever since then my skin has experienced sensitivities to deodorant, even the ones I had been using for years (such as Native, Salt and Stone, L’occitane). So far Saltair and Phlur formulas have been the only ones I can use without irritation. I’ve been reaching for the Saltair one more as the Santal scent doesn’t interfere with my perfumes as much as a vanilla option.

Back on the exfoliation topic, while I won’t use a physical scrub on my face I can definitely still use it on the body. We started using the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser and we love it. It’s cleared up all of Andrew’s body breakouts and I like using this on my legs. I have just ordered the KP options from Saltair and Naturium to try too. Will keep you posted!

Osea Malibu Bodycare

Also been really loving Osea Malibu. I also started using this line with minis a while ago and fell in love. I just restocked all my favorites including travel sizes. I love the Undaria Algae Body Oil, Lotion and Body Serum. 10/10 recommend trying one of their travel kits if you’re new to the line.

Hair Care

May Haircare Favorites

Last I have some hair care loves for the month. My hair has been feeling dry on the ends so I switched things up. My favorite line has been the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Urban Moisture Deep Hydration Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask. I loved this line so much I repurchased everything after using it up. It’s a great hydrating line that doesn’t weigh down my hair and I love the way it smells.

After still experiencing dry ends, I started using the Kerastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum again. I had forgotten about this and can’t rave about it enough! If your hair doesn’t seem to be improving with leave-in conditioners, masks or oils, I highly recommend trying this serum. You apply it at night and I can’t tell you how big a difference it makes.

The R&Co Dart Stick gets another shout out. This is something I cannot live without for my flyaways at the roots. I’ve still been getting regrowth and my thick hair will not stay put with hair spray. This is the best option I’ve found to keep them in place. While it won’t make your hair super greasy, if you sweat you will find you need to wash it out at the end of the day.

I love a good purse sized brush but most of them end up getting smashed in my bag. I love the ghd mini brush for a hard one that won’t bend easily in your bag. The Hair Rituel by Sisley Brush comes in a mini Pocket Brush size and I love it. I do wish I had a mini case for it to protect it better, but it’s still very sturdy and durable. I love that it’s mini but still big enough to be effective.

That wraps up my May favorites! If you had any loves please let me know! I always love reading about the things you’ve discovered and have fallen in love with.
